Favorite wrist pad for years
This is my 4th now after using them for years and years. I'm pretty rough on them and just throw them into the washer with clothes and air dry, cycling through 2 different wrist supports as they need cleaning. They're beaded so they don't bounce, breathe better, don't give me weird calluses, and I can smush them down more if I want less support in some areas. I find them very comfortable to use. For wear, it's mostly been exactly where my wrists are and the cloth ends up getting rubbed away, though my previous one (that I'm replacing now) actually had a hole where beads could just begin to pop out--however, it already had been at end of life so there's no surprise there. I have trouble going back and using other wrist pads, haven't found one that I've enjoyed using as much.

Saved my wrists!
I work as a transcriptionist so I am typing at least 8 hours a day, five days a week. Needless to say, I do a lot of typing! It can be extremely hard on the wrists. I have tried gel wrist rests and they've all been too hard. Memory foam tends to flatten out and lose it's spring/bounce over time. The ergonomic beads are perfect! This wrist rest has a very simple but yet smart design that allows versatility. You can move the wrist rest to fit your keyboard. I have a straight keyboard at the moment, but as you can see in the display picture, you can use it with a curved keyboard as well. The seams are stitched incredibly well and can withstand my cats occasionally knocking it off my desk and playing with it. My favorite thing is how it instantly forms to your wrists, but doesn't flatten out too much. The beads are soft and gentle, not at all hard like I had almost imagined. It provides comfort at the perfect height. The bottom is also smooth so that you don't have to pick up your hands and move them over to use the number pad, you can just slide your wrist over a little. Simply put, I'm in love!

Comfortable, but at 16 inches it may be less than the width of your keyboard
I really like this wrist rest, however I bought it based on the picture that it appears the width of a standard (or even slightly oversized ergonomic) keyboard. Unfortunately, my keyboard is 19 inches wide while this wrist rest is only 16". I find myself sliding it back and forth depending what I am working on to either cover just the letters or some letters plus the 10-key. I would say this was my fault, but according to the manufacturer's description it says it measures 12" x 3" which is also wrong. I plan to return it and find one thats at least 18 inches wide so it reasonably fits the width. Your mileage may vary, just measure your keyboard width ahead of time.

Excellent Mouse or Keyboard Wrist-Rest
I bought this item, not looking for a keyboard-rest, but a wrist-rest for my mouse. I am very pleased with how it feels on my wrist. It can be flipped over, from one side to the other for a different feel...yes it was built that way. It has a more 'plush' feel on one side, but slight firmer on the other. Frankly, both sides are fairly plush and I am satisfied with the feel of both. Note that while this item definitely can be considered 'ergonomic', it is not pre-shaped to fit exactly on an ergonomic keyboard - imagine it is a long black/gray soft tube sock, filled with squishy beaded material. It can be shaped (but not in any rigid fashion) to more-or-less match the contours of the keyboard, desk, or other object you place it on. PROS -Comfortable -Shape-able -Two sides with differing firmness -Construction appears to be standard quality (not cheap) Note: -Being nit-picky here, but after resting my wrist in one place for more than 10-15 minutes, the beads contour around my wrist. Sometimes I enjoy the 'mould' but when I don't, it is as easy as 'fluffing' it so it regains its original shape.

Not long enough to extend the width of a full keyboard
Soft and comfortable, but it's irritating that it's too short to extend the width of a full keyboard. This keyboard wrist rest is 16.5", not the 19" that I saw in an answer and which influenced my purchase. In terms of height, this is probably the right height for a regular keyboard, but for my use (with a tented ergonomic keyboard) I could have used a little more filling, since it squashes down where my wrists rest on it. Overall, a nice quality wrist rest EXCEPT that it's just not long enough.

Lasts About Three or Four Years
When the wrist rest arrives, it's perfect. Nice and soft and flexible. Wrapping around my ergonomic keyboard perfectly. But after constant use for about three or four years (I've bought THREE of them!) it eventually reacts to spilled and cleaned up tea and use by gradually hardening up. It is still usable, but I like a BIT more softness under my wrists all day every day, so I get a new one. I wouldn't expect any bean bag type wrist rest to stay soft and flexible forever though, and this one is perfect for my use.

This didn't even last a month, very comfortable, but fast to fall apart.
I got the mouse wrist support and the keyboard supports. They both are really nice, the mouse one is still holding up, but this keyboard support I guess has bad seams, not even a month after buying this it's leaking beads. This was delivered on Jan 11 and it's Feb 5th now. It started leaking a week ago, as I'm trying to decide what to do with it. Over the past week I have a collection of 30+ beads that have rolled out of it.

Great stress reducer!
I've owned some version of these throughout the years, and I always come back to them. I've tried the gel and memory foam versions, but it's not the same! These adjust to the weight and shape of your wrists, and does a lot of cradling. While it's not as stiff, it's very comfortable. The biggest reason that I love this (and the mouse wrist rest HandStands 55510 HandStands Add-A-Pad Wrist Cushion ) is that it's multi-functional. The plastic beads in the jersey-like material on top (and something a little sturdier on the bottom) is a great stress reliever. I take phone calls for work, and while talking I can quietly manipulate the wrist rest, and then go back to using it for typing! The price point for this is TOTALLY worth it, and to be honest I carry this to and from work and the portability is decent. It can be swung over a shoulder while your hands are full.
