A new and improved Nex
I like this Nex a lot more than the generic 2.0 and the animal themed 3.0, which just didn't do a lot for me. But with these "Breakout" releases, my love of Hero Factory was rekindled. Nex is one of the shorter heroes since he's a cheaper set, but he comes with some great pieces. He has a blaster and hero cuffs just like all the other heroes in this line, and a new style helmet, that actually looks like a one-piece version of that awful 2.0 head and helmet accessory. His other accessories include the minifig harpoon gun that is stuck in his shoulder armor, which looks like a communications antenna, and his left "hand" is a laser cutter/welder/gun. Definitely a cool figure with some great tools.

Ball joint fun!
This was a birthday present for my 9 year old grandson. I bought it together with XT4 6229. He told me he wanted ball joint legos and I was clueless. His daddy clued me in. Grandson was thrilled with the toys and played nonstop with them. The two separate toys can be joined to create one super robot. Pretty cool!

this is a fun toy and has been in many battles it has held up very well. good quality, price and excellent service makes for anenjoyable playing and shopping experience. arrived on time and in perfect condition

Too pricey for what you get
For the price, this toy was not very big, nor was it challenging for my 7 year old to put together. I would not buy it again due entirely to the price. I would not be willing to pay more than $10-12. However, the quality was fine and all parts were included.
