As an expert pan supplier, WMF has helped fashion these innovations. These new coatings have been further developed for scratch-resistance and heat-resistance. Each type has its strengths, and is designed for specific uses. Non-stick coatings on pans ensure that nothing burns onto them. They are ideal for delicate foods and anything which is fried at relatively low temperatures such as fish, eggs, breaded foods or fried potatoes. With WMF CeraDur non-stick coating ---------------------------------- The CeraDur non-stick coating is a ceramic coating made from mineral base materials which are heated to become a hard, glass-like layer. These materials are free from environment-harming PFTE and the heating process does not release any PFOA. Ceramic coatings are especially good for the environment. The CeraDur non-stick coating combines outstanding frying properties with the best non-stick properties. It is also resistant to s and damage. WMF pans with non-stick coatings should not be placed in the dishwasher because this can cause discolouration and damage to the aluminium base.
