This seems to be of good quality. It has washers with a filter look inside the bag. It fits my shower perfectly and the end with the shower head is designed to swivel so you don’t have to worry about aligning the shower head and it’s easy to adjust during use. It was a little bit more expensive than some but you get what you pay for and the swivel end saves a lot of headaches. Would recommend to a friend.

Because of poor water pressure we felt that we needed to extend the shower head. And the result has been amazing! It is more like a rain shower and at 6’1” I can stand comfortably underneath it. So easy to fit and with a small amount of PTFE tape around the joints we have no leaks! Excellent product and simple to install.

It does exactly as described works extremely well once I turned the shower head holder 45° so the shower is facing directly towards you otherwise it is too heavy and will fall forward as it did on both I purchased, a tip I got from a previous review and it works perfectly

Installation was easy, but I had to improvise a Velcro collar to stop the shower head from drooping – not the most elegant solution, but it works! Be warned: the extra connection points are prone to leaking and require some extra tightening. Overall, it's a functional fix with a few DIY caveats.

So happy to have a shower head now directly above my head and away from wall and plug hole! I have a bath/shower and found it annoying I couldn't stand central to the shower end trying to get under flow. No problem now. Only issue is the claw to the riser bar which hold the shower head. Mine like others the quality weight of the chrome causes shower head to dip down. My raiser bar isn't that old but still there is no tighter fit but I got around it by putting a small amount of dental floss as its strong and very thin, wound several times around the claw fitting and it is just enough to give greater resistance to the weight of the extension bar. Very reasonable price, I'm very happy and recommend. Oh and I did have to use the washers and absolutely no leaks.

The fit and finish is very good. This feels like a high quality piece of shower equipment. All metal chromed and smooth construction, with precise threads. Two o-rings included in package (don't throw it away without looking inside!). Your success with applying this will depend on how good your shower head mount is and how heavy the shower head. Most people using this will be wanting to attach to a holder that has a circular hand-screw clamp that you tighten to keep the shower head at a set angle. Some of these are better than others. The extra weight and leverage that the extension adds might overwhelm the ability of the clamp to hold the head at the right angle. Advise you not to buy unless you are confident that your clamp has a solid and secure hold, or unless you have some other way to hold the head at the right angle.

Good, spinning female end for head attachment allows adjustment after head is fixed for proper alignment. This does leak unless you have a 1/2" 2.6mm thick seal. Tried one and two 1.6mm thick seals and it leaked from around the spinning part. Perfect with the supplied seals. Used one of these at the head end and kept other as a spare. Seems expensive but lack of alternatives forced me to buy. The angled part, although shortens the extending length, helps keep the wall bracket more vertical so that it's less likely to start falling down under the extra weight. Overall, works well.

Well made, makes all the difference really, having the water in the middle of the shower cubicle (which this achieves well enough for a small cubicle). The specific angle of it worried me a bit, but it actually doesn't matter --- it's plenty adjustable using the normal shower head tilt adjustment (which this fits into of course). It does create a lot of leverage and will likely cause the shower head to droop, so you do need to figure out a way to prevent that, with a rigid pipe further down so it holds against the wall, or a velcro loop or cable ties or something, depending how happy you are with a quick DIY fix or want to footer around finding a perfect fit polished solution. What I ended up with was two cable ties (one around this extension, one around the top of the shower pole on the wall) and one velcro loop joining the two so that it can be undone to free the shower head without cutting and replacing the cable ties). Not super neat, but works well. I saw some bad reviews saying that they received the wrong item, with the same connectors on both ends, but took a chance and what I received is as correct and fits, as pictured. It came in an envelope, unfortunately, not even a bag let alone a box, but fine; whatever, as long as the washers/seals aren't lost and stuff.
