The SUPBuddy is pretty cool, exactly what I was looking for to bring a drink along while paddle boarding. Pretty basic - suction cups, velcro, koozie. It's not rocket science; just a koozie with velcro and suction cups on it. The velcro is very strong, but hasn't been stronger than the suction cups to my paddle board yet.. Suction cups will only stick to a smooth surface; all suction cups work this way. This thing is simple and works fine and is a lot better than not having a drink with you while out on the paddle board or kayak. Kind of a novelty but cool and useful nonetheless.

Convenient
I feel like this is overpriced, but I’ve used it a lot and I’m really glad I bought it! My SUP board has no bungee straps or any way to carry water while I’m out paddling. The suction works really well, and it’s never come off. It’s been sturdy enough, as I’ve put it through the wringer.

Took a spill, my drink stayed on the board.
After I fell off the board, my drink (albeit very fizzy) stayed on the board. Made my hoppy and malty trip around the lake enjoyable

Better solution would be a wider foam part- bigger
The velcro is stronger than the suction.Better solution would be a wider foam part- bigger. To hold an beer (can) with an actual koozie--- at least with plenty of space to put in different size drink containers.Good idea. Just needs improvements.

More time suping, less time fumbling with my dry bag.
I grew tired of opening and closing and unattaching and reattaching my dry bag to my bungee to retrieve a drink. Especially since I’m constantly wanting to take a swig 💦.When I heard about the sup buddy I thought I’d give it a try....even though I wasn’t too optimistic it would stay on based on a couple reviews.Suctions works REALLY good, (Just slightly wet the suctions before applying).I mean REALLY good. I have to coax it off my board. If any complaints it would be it’s hard to get off, but that’s a good thing!Picture taken through a wet plastic bag so blurry.

Does not stick to paddle boards
Didn’t matter what we tried, couldn’t get the thing to stick to our paddle boards. For 25 dollars I thought it would a) at least stick to the board temporarily b) come with some instructions or tips/tricks to get it to stick. Do not buy this product.

Does not stick well
Thought it would be really cool for kayaking but can barely get it to stick to a flat table top.
