Review: Amazing model/toy - very complex! - Scale: This toy is modeled on large construction vehicles that turn into individual robots or one giant robot. It should be bigger than automobile-robots of a similar scale, and it is! For collectors seeking a giant robot that is comparatively huge, this is a monster! (The top of the head is over 15 inches). It towers over comparable toys and really stands out in a collection. Complex: This is not a toy for small children. Even long-time fans of robots that convert into vehicles will have a hard time with this item, even though the direction booklets are included and they are generally pretty clear. Changing each vehicle to a robot is a time-consuming challenge, but the reward is so worth it! Detail: These characters look really good. Toys based on cartoons like these may never have looked so good! The construction vehicles have nifty proportions and are posable. The robot forms are likewise very posable, detailed, and authentically look cool - action figures! Some of the parts are made of translucent orange plastic, meaning backlighting can make the eyes seem to glow! The giant robot form has very well-articulated hands and there is an LED inside the head that lets the eyes glow red! Everyone in our home who saw the glowing eyes was thrilled. Fragile??? There are many very small tabs and fittings on these guys. After turning the toys from construction equipment, to robots, and back, and then into the giant robot, nothing broke. Phew! There were several movements that seemed to stress key joints some movements in the process really created fear that the plastic would break. Since most collectors will just have the giant robot on display, it should last a long time (and it is more stable and posable than many similar toys) - but this set has such impressive sculpting that it really seems a shame to leave some of the other forms neglected. Summary - Not just satisfied, but thrilled and amazed. This is a really complicated and potentially fragile model/toy, but it really dazzles and the price was far better than anything from comparable toy makers.

Cons: - parts can feel fragile. One must take care when transforming and posing - some joints feel a bit loose and can’t hold all poses - personal preference: wish he came with his classic blaster instead of the crane/club weapon Overall I highly recommend for adult collectors!

**Q: Does it come with instructions for transforming?**
A: Yes.  It comes with a detailed, full color sheet for each vehicle, which includes instructions on how to combine them into Devastator.

**Q: Can a 5 year old boy play with this or is it just a shelf piece? Will it last 4-6 months?**
A: I guess a very mature 5yr old could.  Mine son is 10 and has taken great care of it.  The combiners are also fairly complicated to transform. I would guess it would be a shelf item for a few years before they could actively play.

**Q: Does it come with everything for combination**
A: Yes all the components for transformation are incorporated into each figure. The best way to see how the whole transformation is done can be found on you tube by the user Emgo316 and look for the video about Generation Toy Gravity Builder. It's the best one to watch. The transformations for each figure is almost exactly the same.

**Q: what is the difference between this one and the yellow one?**
A: From what I can tell it’s just a different color and I would advise not getting either set if that’s the case. The green one was extremely low quality with the plastic being very flimsy. The combined mode is basically all it can be kept in and if you wanted to use it for display than it should be fine but it isn’t suitable for play.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ DEH-VUH-STAY-TORRRRR!

Pros: Stupid huge and quite honestly, a better design than the actual Devastator set coming out. High amounts of detail with nice touches like transparent colored plastic for windows instead of painting them on. There’s very little paint with most of the different colors coming from small, individual parts. This adds a physical crispness to the color scheme. Color instructions for each robot. Mine arrived in vehicle form and some of the instructions don’t cover vehicle to robot so take your time and reverse-transform like you forgot to print return Mapquest directions. The vehicle forms are sturdy and the robot forms are just as poseable as you see in the product photos. Keep in mind there’s six of them all about “normal” Transformers scale so you’re looking at an evening of transforming, saying “DEVASTATORRRR!” about fifty times and then figuring out where to display this toddler-sized set before bed. An added bonus is Devastator‘a eyes light up. Shipping time: only about two weeks. Cons: There is no die cast Metal in any of these robots. It’s mainly held together by snap hinges and ball joints, much like a larger scale version of a Gundam or Mazinger model kit. This doesn’t mean you have to be super gentle, just “collector” gentle. For kids, the transformation sequences are complex enough to keep them entertained as long as they don’t throw them down the stairs or play fetch with the dog. There is no packaging. They arrived in a single beat up box (no damage!) and individually wrapped like bricks of Chinese cocaine. All the parts were present with the exception of they sent me two left hands for Devastator. I’ll have to look into getting a replacement right hand. While the robots forms are poseable, Devastator is limited and a bit wobbly but from sheer mass and not lack of joints. Nice enough to display in a good range of poses. Overall: I spent an entire evening playing with these bad boys and I would spend the $100 on this again in a freaking heartbeat. These same KO brands are also sold on Wish but they actually cost more and take longer to arrive, oddly. I’m definitely going to order more “KO Deformers” and spend the price difference on a decent display case.
