This toaster is great. I bought the used like new and it was definitely like new. It looks good and is so easy to use. Everybody is a little concerned about the length of the cord, but I don't have any problem with that. I'm sure that is a safety feature. It works great. It doesn't burn anything and toast evenly. I'm just very happy with it

I love Black & Decker products and have always been happy with them. My first hand mixer was a Black & Decker and it literally lasted over 20 years through heavy use. The prices are reasonable for the quality. I decided to get this toaster for that reason and when my more expensive name brand toaster started smoking & sparking after only about 4 years. First it toasts evenly. It does seem well made but the outer shell (the black part) is plastic not metal. I usually prefer and buy stainless steel. There was a slight plastic smell the first time I used it. It's simple to use. Basic controls and settings. I use wider whole grain bread and the slices fit just fine. The picture is bread that I toasted on the 3 setting. Both sides are toasted evenly. Overall I am happy with this toaster. I do wish there wasn't any plastic on it.

I bought this toaster based on user reviews and price. So many things to say about it! I don't know where to start, so please excuse me if things get long. From the get-go it has made perfectly wonderful toast with all kinds of bread, thick, thin you name it. Consistent, evenly browned with the dial slightly right of center, maybe at the 12:15 position, maybe closer to 12:30, but certainly not at 12:45! And the toast is warm. Win! I purchased this to replace a Cuisinart 2-slice unit we had for a couple of years. It still worked really well, and like this one, it has a removable crumb tray. Good/bad, but I really don't like to wake up bleary from the night before and think about stuff like that. And I certainly don't in the evening when I'm craving a snack. At the low price of around $26.83 (including tax), I can just order another one and throw this one away and not have to worry about crumbs or cleaning! It has a slightly shorter power cord than our last unit, and is much lighter, since it's body is made from plastic instead of stainless steel. Maybe a slight drawback in a self-defense scenario, since swinging it around with a shorter cord and less weight won't have as much impact, and may actually shatter. Important to know, so I stored it near the blender, which has a much heavier base and longer cord, just in case. Preparation and planning are everything! This is not a deal breaker. I'll report back on the shatter when I buy another toaster......... Suggestions for product development: 1. Maybe Bluetooth/WiFi compatible, so you can see the cycle progress and listen to your playlist or a movie. 2. Additional colors, like Pink, White w/Stripes, Pearl (if you like Jam) Deep Purple or Cream. 3. Solar powered to offset the carbon footprint from the toasting cycle. Anyway, go buy this toaster! It's an awesome product and inexpensive. And it makes toast!

Works great, lots of temp settings to make toast just the way you like it! The only disappointment is that the black housing is plastic, but overall looks fine.

Acute (short-term) exposure to styrene in humans results in mucous membrane and eye irritation, and gastrointestinal effects. Chronic (long-term) exposure to styrene in humans results in effects on the central nervous system (CNS), such as headache, fatigue, weakness, and depression, CSN dysfunction, hearing loss, and peripheral neuropathy. Human studies are inconclusive on the reproductive and developmental effects of styrene; several studies did not report an increase in developmental effects in women who worked in the plastics industry, while an increased frequency of spontaneous abortions and decreased frequency of births were reported in another study. Several epidemiologic studies suggest there may be an association between styrene exposure and an increased risk of leukemia and lymphoma. However, the evidence is inconclusive due to confounding factors. EPA has not given a formal carcinogen classification to styrene." This depends on who did the studies, and now that they have "paper mills" that will churn out any result they want, not much can be depended on unless it's a toxicologist or platform you know and trust. Even ChatGPT-4 is known to sometimes make up studies. BPA, an estrogenic anti-androgenic hormone mimic/blocker/competitor, transcribes DNA like normal hormones into new cells but does it badly, sometimes creating it for no reason. Transcription factors are how brains and bodies are made. If you read "Neuro-toxic and Reproductive Effects of BPA", it's basically read the first few paragraphs to find out what a horrible mimic it is, how it blocks androgen receptors, and how it dysregulates luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone, and thyroid stimulating hormone, all of which are important to a multitude of body functions, but particularly reproduction. Then it's pick your cancer. Every time I've used it, it reeks, giving out those chemicals into the air, my food, and me. I've given up and am buying a metal one. If you want to protect yourself from harmful, day-after-day chemicals, or prepare BOTH parents and protect the unborn and young children, read the prologue to "Count Down" by Swan in Google Books or elsewhere, then get it at the library for the chapter on how to do it.

Fantastic! Just a really simple toaster at a reasonable price that does its job so incredibly well. Nice and even toasting time after time. Big deal you might say? At the risk of sounding like a lunatic I will say that in the past 6 months I’ve been through at least a dozen different brands including 2 brevilles (junk) a smeg ( expensive junk) and the “highly rated” cuisinaet cpt-12 (please, STOP recommending this junk!) The cuisinart arrived brand new and the lever wouldn’t stay down! The problem with all of these darlings of many review sites is that none, not one, managed to toast evenly on both sides, top to bottom. Is that asking too much? Black and Decker doesn’t think so…. Anyway, all i can say is at loooong last Ive found my toaster. No idea why it was so difficult to find one that could do such a simple thing. If you’re in the market for a reliable toaster, trust me, this is the one.

El botón qué ajusta la temperatura esta muy flojo y se cambia muy fácilmente solo.
