Philips Vaporizer Garments gc558/30 – Steam Cleaner (1.6 m, 1.8 L, 1.3 m, Lilac)

I spent quite a long time trying to decide which steam brush to purchase. Finally I opted for this Philips version as my steam iron is also from Philips and I am really happy with it. The stand itself makes a really sturdy impression and is easily put together in a couple of minutes. The stand can be lowered or extended quite easily. There's a heat resistant glove provided which is useful and fit my hand perfectly but it's too small for my husband, he has no chance at all of getting his hand in there! The handheld part sits comfortably in the hand, it does get slightly warm if you do several items after another but I didn't find it too hot. You can reduce the amount of steam coming out with a knob on the base unit. Mostly I used it on the highest setting. Additionally you can add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to a special opening in the handheld part, which is a nice additional feature. The water tank is a good size and you can steam quite a lot of items before it needs a refill. Also worth noting is the limescale removing screw in the base of the unit. I didn't know it had this feature - my iron has it and it's really effective so I was really pleased to see that. So I wouldn't use it as my general iron. I was looking for something to freshen up clothes which are difficult to wash, or are dry clean only. Suits, winter jackets etc. Our winter jackets now all look like new! I tried the machine out as an iron. For shirts etc I think it is easier with the regular iron. But for items which are really difficult to iron, things with lots of ruffles, several layers, or delicate stitching it's absolutely brilliant. I was so pleased with the results. With those items it was also much quicker than with the regular iron. The brush attachment is also worth a mention. It worked really well on our winter jackets.

Sicuramente bisogna abituarsi a un nuovo modo di stiratura. Questo funziona col vapore quindi non serve spingere sulle pieghe presenti sugli indumenti ma lasciare morbido il capo e col vapore farlo spiegare. È un ottimo strumento e lo consiglio vivamente. Inoltre non occupa molto spazio ed è semplicissimo da utilizzare

Es muy rápida de usar y el vapor solo con el primer punto es asombroso, lo único que ocurre con estos aparatos que si no quieres estar cada vez regulando la altura, la dejas ya fija y es un apartado un poco alto, pero a mí no me preocupa porque tengo sitio. Una cosa muy buena es que el cable se puede enrollar en la base y queda totalmente recogido. Mi experiencia es muy positiva y poco a poco voy descubriendo más trucos para que quede la ropa aún mejor. Si se quiere se puede plegar pero hay que quitar el accesorio que hace de tabla y a mí no me compensa el recogerlo y volver a regular la altura. Estoy muy contenta con ella y he dejado al menos de momento, la plancha convencional que aunque era de gama muy alta, me es más fácil planchar las camisas directamente con la percha en la plancha vertical. Yo al menos la recomiendo totalmente y la comparativa era la mejor junto a una de reventa más aparatosa y más cara y las puntuaciones tenían las dos la máxima. Estoy muy contenta con ella

Ottimo prodotto, peccato però che non abbia le ruote per poterlo spostare facilmente (motivo per cui ho dato 4stelle) e il tasto per l'interruzione vapore come il mio vecchio stiro-verticale della Singer.
