Have bought this product for years
Creamy and sweet but not overwhelming. Can doesn't always arrive intact but the content is ok. The price has gone up tremendously so I don't but buy it as often but definitely worth a splurge every once in a while. You can use it in the making of desserts, although I use it as a part of a fruit salad. I serve it in small bowls. Put about a heaping tablespoon of chestnut cream, fruit salad on top and a dollopof whipped cream over the fruit salad. Delish!

This is a child memory and it’s delicious on toast!

Haven’t had this in years.
Back in France, I used to eat this from a tube but I must say it was just as good from the can. I used a spoon and loved this chestnut stuff. You can put it on toasts as you would jam.

Smooth texture
Smooth texture, not watery. Has a slight bitterness I did not expect from chestnuts, but no one would know so long as mixed into a cream or pudding.

DO NOT BUY
It taste like sugar, with a dark brownish consistency. It is far from a real chestnut spread. There was no expiration date on the can and was damaged a bit. Do not buy! Overpriced junk!
