JFC Wakame Chazuke Furikake Rice Seasoning, 1.7 Ounce (Pack of 30)

Learned about this living in Japan. There's usually left-over rice from dinner in the rice cooker (not cold -- you must be using the "keep warm" setting on the cooker or you can get sick) and if there's something like grilled salmon, or pork tenderloin, or chicken in the fridge. Then in the morning you can boil some water in the kettle, put some rice (preferably a Japanese rice, but it works with basmati or other rice) in a small bowl, sprinkle the wakame chazuke over the rice and (optional) add some salmon, or thinly-sliced pork or chicken. I'll also add leftover steamed corn kernels. Pour enough hot water in the bowl to cover the rice and allow the meat to warm through. Eat with a wide spoon. Perfect morning starter. Don't let it sit too long because the rice will absorb the water and get mushy...

I like it. Eat it with brown rice & olive oil.

This product is virtually non-existent in markets. The fact that I was able to get any at all is amazing. Would return or replace, but there's no telling how many would be cracked or broken, so I'll just accept the loss.

Excellent product and fair pricing.

Been buying this product for years many different places around the US. This was the first time I had purchased such a large amount and through Amazon. 29 of the jars made it but one did break. There is nothing protecting the glass bottles from crashing and breaking into one another. Pretty glad only one jar busted. But there was tiny shards of glass everywhere and product all over the place. Kinda unsafe when removing everything. I think they need to add some bubble wrap or something around these bottles to prevent damage. All in all the price was great hard to fork up a large amount like that but so far the best deal I could find. And this will last me and my family for a few months since items like these are hard to get right now.
