The concept is great, very easy to use, even easier to install. Two complaints, the wireless switch no longer works after 7 months - e.g. the primary power block works manually, but it no longer communicates via the included wireless switch. The other minor issue is that the adhesive backing on the switch doesn't holds up well - easily fixed with Velcro. I expected this solution to last much longer than it did, but have not contacted the manufacturer yet to discuss a replacement - I don't even know if it is under warranty. UPDATE: Manufacturer provided a quick reply after I contacted them, and some steps to reset the switch. If that works I will update my review and change the rating. UPDATE: It worked!

This is exactly what I was looking for so I didn't have to wire in a switch under the sink cabinet since there was no way to install a switch above the sink. I really appreciated the switch not ever needing any batteries. I mounted the switch under the bottom of a nearby cabinet with Velco adhesive tape so it could be easily moved if ever needed. Works perfectly and easy to push the button on the switch while standing at the sink & disposal.

Works very well, easy to use and install. My only issue is that the button is large and cheap feeling and looking. My disposal was the kind that works with a magnetic collar under the sink and a magnetic stopper goes in to trigger it. This stopped working. I taped the magnets to the collar under the sink and installed this and it works great I think it does not need batteries because it clicks as you press it down and it must generate a small electrical charge. Overall a really good product. Update: This item failed in about a month. I opened it up and it was corroded from the moisture of pressing with wet hands I assume. They sent me a newer model (the one being sold now). That one died in 2 weeks. Not worth buying. Although the company wasn't bad to deal with.

Purchased 3/19...today is 7/25. Still working great. ZERO issues. I didn't want to drill a hole in my nice, minimal looking, quartz counter top...this solved the issue. Placed button in a tilt out right in front of the sink. Works every time. Don't use it often since we have septic...but nice to have and has lasted over 6 years...and still going.

I've had this switch for less than a week, but it works perfectly so far and was easy to install. I have a garbage disposer switch on the wall that I want to get rid of and this switch does the job. I will give one piece of advice if you have a switch like mine on the wall near your sink. That switch actually activates the socket under the sink where the disposer is plugged into. So, as well as turning the disposer on, it makes the socket live. So, for the remote switch to work, that wall switch has to be in the "on" position. I will have an electrician remove the whole switch in the future. Once you do that then follow the pairing instructions in the box and the switch should work.

It was so easy to install this, I put it under the top cabinet next to the sink and its just great a look since you basically have to know is there and you'll never get it wet inside since its upside down. I got this April of 2024 and is still going strong, at this point it has paid for it self by saving me the hassle and money of putting an actual switch to replace it. 100% recommend this, I used it to power up a garbage disposal of 3/4 HP without having to drill countertop or wall, its quite good at that.

This is a great option for a garbage disposal if you don't want to drill your counter top or if your under sink outlet isn't switched. Installation is as simple as plugging in the device and plugging your disposal into it. The remote is wireless and get this....never needs a battery! It's small and unobtrusive and mounts with double stick tape. I put mine on the tile back splash and it has worked perfectly. Highly recommend for do it yourself installations!

Many reviews say the same thing. This stops working after a week or two, give or take. It’s not waterproof. It actually takes in a lot of water where the button is. This is my second unit after the first stopped working in exactly the same way. I will not ask for a replacement. After it stopped working, I unplugged the receiver and held the remote upside down, while pressing the button repeatedly. A lot of collected water came out! This is basically defective by design. The whole top of the unit should be a sealed membrane of sorts. Instead there is a round button with a gap for water to enter. If you stick it on a wall, perhaps it will last some time. If you like to have the button faced up, like me, your unit will likely fail after some normal use with wet hands. The product page says that this is waterproof and is OK to use with wet hands. This is false: see the many reviews describing the issue.

Does exactly what is says. Made installing my garburator so simple without the need to try to drill through the countertop. Just installed an electrical outlet under the sink and that’s it! Thank you!

The fact that this thing doesn't require any batteries is a game changer. Set and forget. Works perfectly.
