Perfect for dampness
Work great as advertised. Have 2 sets of them. Bought my first set to dry out my boots while in Afghanistan. Comfortable, dry, smell-free boots. These are the portable version and work off of heat alone. If your boots have a bunch of padding and aren't very breathable, don't expect these to dry soaked through (flooded boots) overnight. There are no fans, only channels for heat to travel throughout. I have not experienced any damage to any boot or shoe material. If you are looking to dry out sweaty or damp boots/shoes, these are perfect. Anything more, go with the pedestal options with fans.

Perfect to carry anywhere you go.
Perfect size to put in your hunting bag. Work fast, and are very quiet. Very easy to use, and the design makes them small enough to carry anywhere. Great gift idea for the guy that has everything.

Great product
This shoe/boot dryer is excellent. I started out using the PEET dryer primarily to dry out my snowboard boots after a day on the hill. This dryer easily drys thick snowboard boots overnight, and ski boots too without having to pull the liner. The travel set it great for overnights just throw it in a bag and you can dry boots anywhere. I sometimes use the car charger to warm up my boots on the way to the mountain so when i boot up in the parking lot my boots are toasty. I now use this dryer for everything. Tennis shoes, running shoes, I even squeeze gloves on to the end of it. The UV light kills odors and makes my shoes last longer and not smell. So for the money I end up using it year round. Lastly, something happened to my charger and it stopped working. I could not dry my boots. I called PEET and they replaced my dryer no questions asked. Super nice people in CS. They stand behind the product. Bottom line. Smelly boots are not cool. Wet boots SUCK. If you have ever had to deal with soggy boots before a long day of snowboarding you know that paying 30 dollars to have dry boots is a no brainer.

Good, works, just quality control issue
I’ve been using Peet dryers for decades. I’m a professional forester and outdoorsman. I’ve had both the big ones, and these compact ones. They work exactly as they should. They don’t get too hot so you won’t damage the waterproof membrane in many Moderna boots. They are a lifesaver, and also keep slippers cleaner and smelling better. I had a very old version of this for 10 years until it finally quit. The new ones definitely feel a bit lighter and cheaper than the old ones, but they work the same. The only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is that the first one had to be replaced as only one of the feet warmed. But the exchange was easy and replacement worked perfectly.

Dry feet are great!
These work great in my ski boots. My feet sweat a lot while I am skiing. These dry my boots over night and I am ready to go :)

Broke in MX boot
When I first received them I tried fitment in one of my pairs of Mx boots. They were snug, but able to get them in/out no problem. on the first camp/ride trip with them I ended up getting wet in a couple creek crossings. I was wearing a different pair of boots than I tested them in. I had some difficulty getting them into the toe, but ultimately got them in. Taking them out, however, did not go as well. One came out quite easily while the other had to be maneuvered around a bit resulting in the two halves breaking apart. The boots did dry however, so that was a plus. I just can’t use them again. Two stars for Mx boots. I’m sure they would work wonderfully for hiking or work boots.

great after a year of use
These things are fantastic. I live in snow country and work outdoors. I use the large stand dryers mostly when I'm doing snow removal, but i use these things on my boots when I come in because they also do a great job and are quiet. They can apparently be used in my truck but I haven't tried that yet-I don't usually change boots in the field!

Cheap, portable, work decently...but did not neutralize odors
The product works decently for drying damp shoes, albeit very slowly. I think they would struggle mightily to dry shoes that were soaked. Anyways, if you want these to dry out your sweaty shoes after work, they should do the trick. However, the "Built-in UV light technology neutralizes bacteria and other contaminants that cause odor" part has been a disappointment. I have left these dryers in a pair of boots with only a slight hint of odor for several consecutive days, and it did nothing to eliminate the odor. If I leave my boots outside for two or three days in the direct summer sun, the smell goes away. I'm no scientist, so I don't know why the sun's UV light works and this product doesn't, but for whatever bacteria/contaminants I seem to grow, the small light emitted by this product doesn't neutralize it.

This does not come with a uk plug dispite selling in amazon uk, neither does it bother to mention this in the description, also as this is not from the uk (which also is not clear) I had to pay £12 import tax, so by the time I have returned this I will be even more out of pocket! Valuable lesson don't buy without reading reviews!
