Great engraving tool!
Awesome little tool! I mainly got it for small little projects such as the one in the video posted. However, after a bit of use, I realized that it could be used for many other things and not just engraving. Multiple tips are provided for different applications which expands the range of use for this product. Very easy to use, button is located in the location that allows for the maximum grip while using, and the lead of this tool while using is almost non existent. Highly recommended!

Works great and a great value
For light engraving, this is the tool for you. It comes with a total of 6 bits and the Allen wrench to install them. Easy to use in small, tight spaces and it works on tool steels, aluminum and of course plastics. If you need deep engraving, this might not be for you, but as you can see in the pic, I marked my side cutters, and my vape, now I just need better penmanship. This won’t engrave very deep on harder steels but that wasn’t important to me and for the price, this does exactly what I wanted.

Color: Pen 413 - good enough. comes with 5 extra tips as shown in picture.
mmm.... DIY dentistry? no, just kidding. don't practice dentistry on yourself or roommates. that's what pets are for. still just kidding. ... this review is for "Color: Pen 413" - I got mine and used it some. seems to work. came with the 5 extra bits. the biggest issue I have is that the only way to turn it off and make sure it doesn't come back on accidentally is to loosen the battery cap. I would have liked to see an ON/OFF slider switch or something to prevent power when not using it.

Good "beginner" engraver pen.
It's a decent engraver that runs on 2 AA batteries. It comes with stencils. There is a small tool needed to unscrew/screw so you can alternate between the five different bits. However, that little screw can NOT be loosened too much because it will fall out, which is what happened. It took me awhile to find it on my carpet. Now I am too afraid to change to a different bit because I don't want to lose it again. But, I think the small bit that's in it now will be enough to do some introductory projects on some cheap glass mugs. I will have to work my way up to a more professional model that is made a little better and offers more stability. This is a good "starter" engraver for beginners like me. It's cheap, lightweight, and portable. Three stars simply because of the screw issue !!

Pleasantly Surprised
I needed a small engraver for harmonica tuning and this one fit the bill and worked well. What I wan't expecting was all the attachments and stencils that came with it. I bought it for one use and discovered dozens of uses. Uses a battery and is not rechargeable, but the battery has not had to be replaced since I got it.

Used for about 10 - 15 minutes, Tip broke off.
This was to engrave initials on metal hearts for my wedding,10 hearts (30 letters in all). By the time I got around to this DIY project it was mid-June, the needle broke off while doing the first heart and it's too late to return it. The wedding was a week ago today, I'm just now getting around to all the returns and I am stuck with a broken engraving pen that will never get used. My son ordered a new one (a different brand) for the project and I thought I would be able to return this. Waste of money.

Nice!
[Update: I am changing my rating to 5 stars. After a little getting used to, I realized I was applying too much pressure. It's important to use just the right amount of pressure and then it writes fairly smoothly on a flat surface! I've been using it all over to write in runes and Latin alphabet. Etched my name onto my bike. Marked my keys. Wrote my gf's name in glass. And I'm attaching my latest work, which is what I bought this pen for in the first place - leather crafting. It did a very poor job writing on the inside of the hyde, but was beautiful on the outer side. And that's my first piece of leatherwork!] It is hard to write neatly with , but maybe that will come with practice. I think you need a very strong grip and/or downward pressure to write neatly, as it will go all over the place if you don't hold it down tight. I'm glad I watched demo videos before purchasing, otherwise I'd have been upset with how hard it is. I just got it a couple days ago and have already used it to engrave my name into a metal box, runes on my metal bed frame, and letters onto my keys to indicate which door they're for. I could not write more than that on the keys as the space was too tiny to have any faith in being able to write that many letters clearly. Have only used it on metal so far - can't wait to try it on glass and leather! Batteries were included and I think it came with everything it was supposed to - 5 spare tips and the tool to change them out. One of the tips is extra large. I highly recommend learning runes for this tool as it is easier to write in straight lines than in curves.

I’ve never used one before but starting off with this one it’s super simple to use and works great, I’ve engraved a lot of things and used it for custom jewelry to add designs and names onto the jewelry. Not what I thought I was going to get. Not the best product.
The only bit that works good is the bit that’s attached to it. The other bits aren’t good. This is more a starter kit for someone who just wants to try it. I would recommend researching other products. No the best.
