  • SWEET & SOPHISTICATED: Highlighted by perfectly ripe grapes, the Moscato exudes delicate aromas of woodland undergrowth, moss and lemon which play into the palate with notes of fresh orange blossom flower, white peach and honey that lead to a crisp finish.
  • PRESERVING NATURAL SWEETNESS: The Moscato grapes are fermented until the wine has a 5% alcohol content after which the temperature is lowered to prevent all the sugar from converting to alcohol preserving the natural sweetness and aromatics of the grapes.

Castello del Poggio Moscato d'Asti DOCG Sweet Sparkling Wine from Asti, Italy Vinification: 100% Moscato Bianco grapes fermented until the wine has obtained 5% alcohol when the temperature is lowered to prevent the yeasts from completing the transformation of all the sugar into alcohol. The natural sweetness of the grapes is thereby preserved along with their full aromatic properties. Colour: Straw yellow with golden reflections accompanied by a gentle bubbliness. Bouquet: Intense, very enjoyable and well-defined by delicate hints of woodland undergrowth, moss and peach, orange blossom and crisp lemons. Flavour: Delicately sweet, harmonious and with a very fine aroma. Alcohol By Volume: 5.0%
