Anki Vector

So for the vector its self its a brilliant robot! Lives on our book shelf enjoying life everything works perfect and he's already got an amazing personality! Camera is good quality! Don't be expecting 4k pictures from him though! His responses are immediately and he's a good listener, his snoring is also adorable, its like having a toddler again! Even throws tantrums! Only downside to vector was a connection issue when we first started him up, which seems to be a known fault until he's updated, took and good number of attempts and just pressing try again!! If it happens to you he isn't broken its just a bug in the software. Mine took a factory reset and a couple turns off and on! There's plenty of YouTube videos on this. Once you've cracked it and connected he's a joy! As for the seller we noticed packaging was open and thought mebe he wasnt new, so messaged him and he contacted us immediately to say they open the boxes to check everything is their and its all brand new. So all in all its a 9/10 (shame about the little connection bug) Highly reccomend thease cool gadgets and this seller!

I was glad when it arrived early, but sadly found out the company that makes the Anki robot has gone bust. So was unable to register through the app to set it up to work. So now it just a piece of plastic doing nothing , so will sadly have to return it .

I like everything about this item and there is nothing I dislike about it I would recommend it to anyone that wants to buy it as a gift or for themselves it's a fun little thing to have and it is money well spent

I have bought this as I found the little guy quite interesting. When it was released i do believe it was ahead of its time and also something with a lot of potential, which is quite sad no more inprovements being made. Its enjoyable as its like a little pet at ur desk, and specially with little ones who find it amazing due to its pixar-like design, making it child friendly. Although i still very much like mine and not disappointed. I just wish i could have a few more features to use it with.

Having been an early investor in Anki Cosmo I was excited when Vector was announced and preordered Vector and his 'home' immediately. When he arrived I was delighted, as I'd loved Cosmo and the community of fans who had made so many improvements, but was disappointed that it was mainly your phone/tablet doing the heavy lifting. So seeing he could do so much independently, and I could leave him in his home as a virtual pet, but his abilities were quite limited compared to his predecessor, but I was really excited for his future development. Unfortunately Anki seem to have forgotten about Vector and in the years he's been 'living' in our home, he's happily chirping away to himself, playing with his cube (that sometimes creates a cool lighting show), high fiving us, and telling us the time or weather, but there have been only minor improvements to his code. He's able to read out sentences when prompted, so quite why the developers didn't give him a voice just shows their lack of interest, which as an early adopter, so someone who paid top dollar, is frankly insulting, and the reason I won't be buying anything else that they come up with. Such a disappointment, as he really could have been made to do so much if Anki had just bothered.

I can't say anything about alexa integration or remote control, since we don't have any. But Vector is a welcome new member of our family. We are having a blast playing with him and my daughter, for whom Vector was a gift, is more than thrilled.

I don't know where to begin. It is a "toy" robot that can give hours of fun (just not all at once, will get burned out). Meant for entertainment in small consumption each day even. Also, I would say would be a lot more entertaining for the 9-17 age group but is for all ages. Now you can activate Alexa on it, I haven't tried that out yet so can't comment on it. But asking it a question and it will give you an answer, if it understood the question. And that is if it hears you? It wasn't cause it couldn't understand me but you have to talk pretty loud in order for it to even hear you, which is pretty much it's biggest draw back. Battery life isn't great either, about 1 hour of running around doing something, but most the time it will find its way back to the charger on its own. I have come home from work and it is dead because it for some reason or another it didn't get to the charger before it died. The biggest issue I have with it is the app doesn't connect to it most the time. When it did connect it is very useful and helps set up certain settings, which you have to do the first time you turn it on. Well I hope this helps? On sale it is well worth getting if your into this kind of "toy" companion (what it is to me) or self entertainment for your family.

Artık bizim gümrükte mi bi şey oldu noldu bilmiyorum ama daha sonrasında iadeyi alıp doğru ürünü gönderdiler. Tabii bu bana neredeyse 45-60 güne mal oldu. Yine de orijinal gönderdikleri için çok teşekkür ediyorum. Yoksa 4 tabağa bu kadar para vermiş olmak üzücü olurdu :)
