We handpicked 14 of the most fun, mechanical Bits and crammed them into one double-decker kit, while making sure that they're a great complement to the Starter Kit. But it's not just for Starter Kit owners: it has everything you need to get started, including a bit that powers your littleBits from a computer's USB port. The Extended Kit also includes an Instruction Sheet with several project suggestions. And, if you ever stop playing, you can pack everything away in the sleek rectangular case. Review: Expensive for enjoyment provided - Took this to the beach for my 3 11-year-old grandsons. They played with it once, then it sat. The 8-year old granddaughters played with it once, too. Apparently not as appealing as games on their computers. Expensive for what they got out of it. Review: Worth the awards, but I'm not sure about the money. - This is an incredibly clever toy that can motivate children to learn about electronics, controls and electricity in general. However, at $10 a module (in a set; by the piece the modules are even more expensive) it's way beyond most people's budgets for what it is. To add insult to expensive injury, the modules are cheaply made. Most of them (although not all) look like they'll stand up to some play but are obviously manufactured for pennies on the dollar--$0.10 or less for components and labor for the "bits" that cost $10+. I am astounded at the creativity of the projects that real people make that the company showcases in its newsletter and web site. I have a set and have built this and that but nothing spectacular. The problem is I always need just one more piece and I will be d***ed if I'll pay that much for the overpriced little buggers. ## Features - Snap and play, magnets prevent you from putting things the wrong way - Play with light, sound, sensing and buttons without wiring, soldering or programming - Make your own interactive objects, or combine with other construction toys - Explain to your children the complex notions of electricity, electronics and science in a fun way - On the littleBits website to see videos and images of what you can make ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00D30B4Z4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #238,286 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #2,333 in Educational Science Kits | | Customer Reviews | 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars (7) | | Date First Available | November 13, 2012 | | Item Weight | 1 pounds | | Item model number | LB-KIT-k3-EXTENDED-v03 | | Manufacturer | littleBits | | Manufacturer recommended age | 8 months - 15 years | | Product Dimensions | 12.2 x 2.4 x 3.93 inches | ## Images ![Electronics Extended Kit - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61CVZYwcB2L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Expensive for enjoyment provided *by M***N on August 2, 2013* Took this to the beach for my 3 11-year-old grandsons. He's since invented robots that can walk and sound machines with alarms. They're just a phenomenol company. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://lithuania.desertcart.com/products/7137284-electronics-extended-kit](https://lithuania.desertcart.com/products/7137284-electronics-extended-kit) --- *Product available on Desertcart Lithuania* *Store origin: LT* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
