I do you use on the stairs on the odd occasion but its quite difficult to do it. Dustpan and brush or hoovering is easier.

I can’t open my sweeper to clean out

On the back of your ewbank there is a thumb indentation on each flap, push on the indentation and the flap will flip open. It is quite hard so press and hold with force.
