I had bought two towels, one from this vendor and one from a different one to see if there were differences. There was such a difference between the two. THIS VENDOR: I really do appreciate the colour, softeness and overall it's well fabricated and not cheap feeling/looking at all. It absorbs just as well if not better than a normal bath towel AND! it dries so fast!!!! even bunched up. I'm really excited to purchase more in the future because they pack so well and saves so much space in the linen closet. OH! and they look so great hanging in the bathroom! I'm definitely going to be swapping out all of our beach towels to these as well. OTHER VENDOR: even though they both were beautifully made and seemed almost identical their towel was awful, it just pushed the water around on my body and actually made squeaking sounds. I gave up and started using the towel from this vendor. SO, I guess just like anything not all of them are made the same. and I highly recommend this vendor and will most definitely be purchasing more!

Saw the flat woven Turkish cotton towel advertised somewhere at like 44 dollars each for a large beach style towel. Looked on Amazon and saw many listed cheaper and thought I'd try one. Amazing! Many reviews talk about the importance of pulling each knot tight and pre soaking in water for 24 hours. I did this and wrung it out and hung it to dry. It does dry super fast! It's not fluffy but I think the cotton is really soft. It really is incredibly absorbent. The fact that it takes up very little space and is super light is a huge bonus. Ultra light hikers should take note! This is rather large, and great for home or beach use. I've ordered some smaller ones and believe they would be a great cotton alternative to the plastic synthetic crap sold at 2x the cost or more. I've used and washed mine for a month now. I always hang it to dry since it takes very little time and I believe it will last longer. It's holding up well. Buy with confidence!!

I have never experienced Turkish towels so was not sure what to expect. They are a lot thinner than i thought they would be HOWEVER they are super absorbent. I have washed these without fabric softener to ensure absorbency has been maintained and am pleasantly surprised I rather enjoy them for bath towels as they are thin but super long! I only ordered two to match the ha d towels that only came in sets of two. I have since discovered my husband does not like the idea of a thin towel so the ones I have ordered already will remain for my use only. I wasn’t sure what to think at first as it is a change from fluffy towels. I find I rather enjoy them after a few weeks of adjusting. I feel that they dry just as affectively as a fluffy towel but dry in a fraction of the time and storage can NOT be beat due to the thinness.

I love this towel for travel! It is lightweight, packs down to a petite burrito, and dries quickly so you're never packing away a soggy towel. It's nice and big so it covers my whole plus-size self if I have to walk through a shared area before/after showering. I find it to be not *quite* as cozy and absorbent as a regular cotton towel, simply because there is less thickness in the fabric and a whole area can wet out and become clingy. E.g. drying a full head of wet hair will leave a saturated area. However, it dries quickly and this isn't a big issue since you can always shift to another dry area of the towel since it's big. So I won't be replacing my home stock of towels, but I will be buying more to pack on trips!

I've had the towel for a few years now, and it is absolutely my favorite towel. I don't find it too rough, doesn't feel weird when I grab with dry skin(like microfiber), the size is very good, very absorbent, dries quickly, doesn't hold onto or give off lint. Isn't the warmest, but it's a thin towel. The twisted tassels on the ends have started to come loose over the years, but I haven't noticed any threads coming off the towel. I am 5'7" and 200lb and it covers me well.

It’s just right size to feet my 5’5” person and small enough to fit in back pack. Light and easy to get rid of sand. Good quality and color is lovely.

Depending on what you want, these towels may or may not be what you're looking for. I wanted absorbency and quick dry. They definitely deliver on drying quickly, but they are TERRIBLE at absorbency. They smear moisture around on your skin rather than drying your skin. However, you can re-use them within 4 hours and they're completely dry. If you want absorbency or softness, this is NOT your product. I was also not interested in low-volume/space-saving, but if that's important to you, these towels are very compact. Also, I'm not sure if the poor absorbency is common to all towels of this style, or if these are just cheap materials, so I will continue gathering data!

Material looks thin, but effective and lasting

I am delighted with this product. I was on a beach vacation for 30 days and I washed this towel every day in the wash machine and it always turned out perfect. It’s a good size and you can wrap it around you as a beach cover-up if you want , it was a good purchase and I’m very happy, I think this towel will last for years. In fact I am going to buy more.

Beach towels arrived on time. Washed and ready to go. These are super easy to fold and roll into small spaces. Quick to dry too! Light and breezy.

Great towels. Great for the beach or camping. They don't take up the room a normal towel does. They dry quickly too. I did soak them over night in water as some of the other reviews suggested. I think this helps to release the fibres so they are more absorbent and soft. A great buy!
