TUSA SF-22 Solla Open Heel Scuba Diving Fins

So, quick disclaimer up front; I haven't had the chance to take these to the open water yet, but in simple pool testing they are probably the best bang-for-the-buck fins I've ever found. I've had better fins, I've had more expensive fins, but I've never had fins that are such a good product for the price point. These are designed for use by the amateur-enthusiast. They're not super professional dive quality, they're not customized, they're not going to last for 30 years if you're a professional diver. BUT, that being said, for the amateur-enthusiast they're essentially the perfect entry fin. They're adjustable, very heavy duty, and are sized so you can easily fit them on over a set of dive boots. The flex point was a bit further toward the end than I anticipated but that wasn't a problem after about 3-5 minutes, you get used to it pretty quick. Propulsion wise they work wonderfully, allowing both speed and maneuverability, and hell, they even go with my snorkel and dive knife. Can't recommend highly enough, I'd buy two if I could but these are going to last long enough.

Great fins. I tried a few different styles in a swimming pool and these were by far my favorite paddle fin. Sturdy yet lighter than some the same size (or larger) that are very effective in the water. I ordered medium for me and my daughter (women's shoe size 8 and size 9) and they were way too big with our 5 mm boots, the toe end had way too much empty space that would just carry water. Easy enough to return so I reordered the size small instead. The small fits both of us very well. Consider ordering a size smaller than the size chart suggests. The red metallic really shimmers when the light his them which I'm thrilled about, it will help me keep an eye out for my daughter/diving buddy under water.

These fins are great. They work fantastic, and they are very attractive. I wear 8.5 in women and the small fit well. I used them with Cressi Ibiza 3 mm boots, which are not full size boots, and I was a little worried that my foot would move around in the fins, but that did not happen at all. I wear full size boots now, no problem.

Great fins! Tighten after a few minutes in the water but they stayed on and were comfortable with diving socks and booties. The color made it easy to ID them from a stack of other fins, and made it easier for my diving buddy to ID me from other divers. Dove 11 times with these fins so far and had no problems.

I have US shoe size 9-9.5 but my feet are very narrow. I started with size M following the sizing chart and it was far too big, both length and width (for the foot pocket, not the full fin blade). Size S was still too wide but better in length. Size XS is where I landed. They fit great with 3mm fin booties and have a little wiggle room in case I need to up to a higher mm bootie for a cold dive. I can tell even out of the water that I have much better control over these fins’ movement compared to the first two sizes. I also noticed that there are different heel strap styles (see pic). The M and S I received had more of a bungee cord-type heel strap that required you to fully detach part of the strap from the fin to tighten it, and a narrower contact point for the heel (left fin in pic). The XS had a buckle and ratcheting pull strap which is what I’m personally more familiar with and prefer in general, and also had a much larger contact pad for the heel (right fin in pic). Not sure if this is due to models or style years getting mixed up, or if some sizes just have different heel straps, but I’m glad the ones that fit me best were also the ones with the strap I preferred. Everything else about the fins, including fin blade length, seemed identical. Another thing to note as I went though buying and returning different sizes, there is a $7.95 restocking fee for each return. Not a big deal compared to $100 fins but just a good thing to know if you’re unsure about sizing. Also makes sense as all of the fins I received were shipped from nearby aquatic stores (three cheers for supporting small businesses!) These fins also shipped FAST. All three sizes arrived before their anticipated delivery dates and the XS literally arrived THE DAY AFTER I ORDERED IT. Amazing. TUSA is a great brand for diving gear and I’m so excited to have these fins now. I took one star off my review for the item listing as a whole because the sizing chart is so off from what I was expecting, but I’m super happy with the XS pair I ended up keeping.

I bought two pairs of these fins for my daughters who were recently scuba certified. They used them on a week long scuba diving trip and we were very happy with them. Easy to maneuver through small spaces but powerful enough to fight some pretty strong currents we encountered. I would recommend them to any new or intermediate divers who are looking for good all purpose fins. I used them for snorkeling one afternoon and found them to be good for that purpose, too, though it's more than you really need if you're only doing snorkeling. As a mom, I appreciated the mostly white color as it really stood out in a group of divers and made it easy to spot my kids. As for sizing, they wear size 7 1/2 and 8 in women's shoes and the small fins fit well with thicker cold water booties. I wear a 6 1/2 and the small worked for me but an XS would probably have been better.

These are so incredibly comfy and used for scuba certification! Fit perfectly and I love the Tusa line!

Receive well packaged items within a couple of days. The fins are a brilliant design. However,the fins seem quite large and we will be fitting them with booties in a shop today before considering retuning for smaller sizes. Please could you also note the length of the fins in your product information, for flight baggage purposes.

These fins fit perfectly - sizing supplied is very accurate. Very comfortable to use and provide excellent propulsion underwater (I am a novice diver). Great variety of colours online and speedy delivery! Highly recommend!!

They look great and are what I wanted having done lots of research. They were the cheapest anywhere as I would normally buy from dive shop.
