Great product for wood burning fireplace. I use this every year to do minor crack repaired in my wood burning fireplace. Hold up good for the winter season. Very important to follow instructions for drying and curing before making hot fires.Easy to apply and clean up.Highly recommend it.

Had a handfull of cracks in the refractory brick liner in our Superior prefab fireplace and was looking for an option to keep me from either ordering new bricks or from casting my own. I cleaned the fireplace out really well with the shopvac and then used an old toothbrush with water and thoroughly cleaned all of the cracks. The largest crack I had was probably a 1/16 of an inch and the smallest were hairline cracks. This actually worked better on the larger cracks as it was able to get into the crevice and fill the void. On the hairline cracks I appied a small bead and then smoothed it with my finger and it is starting to flake off of those spots. On the larger cracks it seems to be holding perfectly. I followed the curing directions to the letter.

Great product, instructions are little complex but doable. My only issue with this purchase was the fact that I wanted to order a single tube but, was told it was only available in a dual set, however when it/they arrived one come in the morning and the other come in the late afternoon, so it seems as though they are using a little trickery to move product.

Beautiful results! Not normal caulk, much thinner and a little watery. This is intended, read on.This is specifically made for fireplaces and high-heat stove fire brick. FOLLOW their DIRECTIONS on label and watch their video referenced there. I had to pay attention and it was worth every minute! Worked exactly like they said it would. Hallelujah! Saved an expensive service call, sealed up the cracks.

Worked great to fix cracked parts of my big green egg. Specially the inner part that holds the charcoal that broke into four pieces. Wet surfaces and use this like glue to stick pieces together. Allow to dry for a day then follow heating instructions on tube to cure the product as hard as rock.

Got this for my outdoor fire ring and was majorly dissapointed. First fire we had the mortar failed, must have been made in China or some place with no standards.

If you follow the steps correctly, it works like a gem. I recently pointed the inside of my fireplace, and it works great be advised that the product is a bit caustic.So wear gloves if you need to touch it

El calentador, al prender salían flamazos de entre las piedras cuando se ponía en temperatura media o baja. Este calentador en particular tenía una especie de cemento blanco entre las piedras, este cemento se fue rompiendo poco a poco y se caía en pedazos. Este producto esta diseñado para soportar temperaturas altas de fisuras en chimeneas. Seguí las instrucciones para ponerlo ... mojar el área donde se va a aplicar, dejar secar 24 hrs y curarlo al prender el calentador. Funcionó perfecto ya el calentador funciona sin problemas. Se ve un poco feo porque es de color gris y no encontré color blanco, pero con lo que costó no me compro un calentador nuevo. Sobró bastante producto, fue en realidad muy poco el que utilicé. Cuando se cura el color gris obscuro se va poniendo mas claro.

Follow the on-product instructions for curing requirements and this mortar works a treat. Dries as hard as a rock!I was able to join broken firebox ceramics with ease and now have a fully functioning slow combustion fireplace.Highly recommended for this type of repair.
