These are nice upgrade for my nylon string guitar that only had an endpin peg to hook the strap and use the string to attach the other end to the headstock. Upgraded the strap and didn't want to ruin it so I purchased these buttons and sure glad I went with these as they are both stylishly different and functional, Love how they looked on my guitar that I decided to put them on my Ukulele as well. I did pre-drill the holes to ensure a clean install, process was so easy even your grandma can do it.. Lol! Seriously, no issues whatsoever as these are as the title stated above super duper nice. I included pics for reference. Definitely would buy again if ever needed to upgrade my other guitar strap buttons. Excellent buy.

This strap pins are first very pretty! Rich gold plating looks great and almost is too good to be around the cheap off brand plating on the guitar! These pins are incredibly useful for stiff, stubborn strap holes that would normally break your nails and rip your prints off! When installed properly, standing position locks the strap in place and seated allows you to take it off, very handy! Not every guitar needs a steel quick release strap, for those that just want simple elegance, this is it!

Good quality stuff

This end pin delivered 1 day early and I install it same day. I have 2 Taylor acoustic guitars that needed an end pin on the neck. This end pin is gold to match other hardware and prevents the strap from slipping off. Since both guitars had no end pin on the neck, I needed my electric drill and a small bit to drill the hole. You get 2 sets of screws, one set slightly smaller than the other. The bit should be smaller than the screw to allow the screw threads to bite into the wood. If you are not familiar with drilling holes in hard wood, you should have an experienced person do this you.

What a simple and effective idea. These are the first strap locks I have used. With so many others you can forget changing straps. I have different straps I like to use in different situations and I didn't like how hard, or impossible it was to change the strap out. Some reviewers have commented that the screw sizes they supply don't work. I put on four sets of these last week and used the original screws from the guitar. No problem at all with installing. It just can't be any easier than Planet Waves have made it. Super price on a super product. I used to worry about dropping a guitar but not any more. One less thing to worry about so I only have to think about playing. I highly recommend these.

What is good about these is that they require no drilling. It comes with two sets of strong screws (you pick it based on thickness). If the original screws are only slightly longer, I use the new screws, if they originals are much longer and do not fit too loose in the new hardware, I use the originals, though the shorter screws might really be fine. If the body is of a softer wood I would stick with the longer ones if OK and hole not striped. I also use the rubber washers which I think is important, When on the guitar the wide part is perpendicular to the strap slit so it is hard for the strap slip off. What this product does not do it is protect the actual strap ends from wearing out as with Strap-Loks. Strap-Loks are more work to install, need some simple lubricating and cleaning maintenance, protect the strap and also the strap does not run (or runs) less on the guitar. Strap-locs are indeed better and I always used for years, but these do a great job of holding on to a strap in good condition and were fine for a bunch of guitars I had. Using the same strap on the original strap pins my strap would slide off, with these it stays on. So far these do the job very well and cost barely nothing. For players that are very physical jumping all around go with the Strap-Loks, just make sure you put the straps ends on correctly so they don't pop apart. In final, these are a bargain and work fine and are very easy to install.The more I use them the more I see how well they work.

These strap pins are fantastic! We have installed these on multiple bass guitars in our home. We've got gold and we've got black. They come with two different sized screws.

I installed these on my Gibson Explorer, due to the awkward location of the strap buttons. I also have them on my Les Paul Prophecy. I like them much better than traditional strap locks. They're simpler and classier looking, but very sturdy, I've never had a guitar come off. If they're good enough for Adam Jones then they're good enough for me.

Les attache sangle sont très souvent fourni avec de petites vis qui finissent par casser dans le talon de la guitare. Les vis sont de bonne facture et dans le cas que vous en casser une et bien vous avez du change. Le système est moins cher que des straplock Danelop mais tout aussi efficace et plus facile à installer et on peut mettre des sangles épaisses. Fournit avec des caoutchouc de protection. Donc je recommande. L
