Nightmare. Turned the wax into glue that stuck to my eardrum. Did not remove the wax after a week. The result was that I couldn’t have the wax removed by microsuction either because it was too dangerous with it being stuck to the drum. Ear stringing worked in the end. Will stick to oil in future.
