Live Sound
This gate is working well. One problem what I have is that when it is releasing the signal it is incressed in volume and sound like a "pop". I think to try with an gate-compressor which will prevent the "pops"

Excellent Budget Gate
I desperately needed a 4 channel gate to tame some wildly ringing drums, and this little budget unit did the job nicely. The instruction manual is poorly written, and does not explain how to use the frequency selective/bandwidth adjustment for heavy gating. But through trail & error I was able to dial it in and remove a ton of stage rumble - ambient ringing between the drum mic's. I've only used it once, but so far so good!
