These work excellent for small to medium rooms I run them once a week (we do smoke) it clears the odors freshens our bedrooms, be aware you do need to ventilate afterward and if you do not like the smell of ozone (smells like the sunshine used to years ago!) it dissipates quickly.

This Ozone generator works at removing bad smells!! We have a wine cellar that had a permanent "perfume" like smell which was very off putting. We are not the original homeowners so we could not figure out where the smell was coming from, and it would not go away even after leaving the cellar door open for days. We got this ozone generator and left it running at the smaller setting for about 2 weeks. The smell is now gone for good!!!

I purchased two of these and they are able to pump out tons of O3. I have had one set up on a timer to give my basement an occasional spritz. It freshens up the entire floor. I wouldn't recommend it for constant use. It generates far too much ozone. It probably wouldn't be healthy. It is amazing for occasional use, though. It would work great to deodorize a room. Even a large one. I did have one unit burn out after a few months. I think moisture got to it and the dielectric broke down. It was just sending an arc right through rather then generating a corona.

I was super impressed with this tiny machine. I’m renovating a house once occupied by a long time smoker. The bathroom is where, for whatever reason, they did the majority of their smoking. Enough that white wallpaper was turned yellow and tar ran down the walls. I've only used it in this small bathroom, but it significantly reduced the odor after a day. After removing the wallpaper there was still enough smell to make your eyes itch, but I've been running this overnight when I'm not working at the house, and now when you walk in you can't hardly tell there was ever a smoker. Some notes, it is rather noisy. Since I only let it run when I'm not there and you shouldn't be in the room with an ozone machine anyway, it didn't bother me. Lowest setting is a low buzz and get's louder from there. I couldn't hear it with the door closed on medium output. Very easy to use. Just plug it in and turn the dial, so simple to adjust. Though I wish there was more guidance on how high to turn it, I kinda guess. Overall, very surprised and pleased with how well it worked for the price. It's small and even looks nice on the wall when not in use. I'm going to try it in the musty utility room next.

So far excellent unit. Been using it a week in a boat head (bathroom). It produces a variable setting of real ozone. Can be adjusted to a safe effective level. This is basically a room size unit, effective to about a living room or large kitchen. In a bathroom run on low. It could feasibly service a 2/3 house installed in the AC air handler closet. If you are using this to do some serious remediation / de-funking it may not be strong enough. If you can put your funky item in a closet or bathroom with this unit on high setting it will de-odorize it with some time. For hunters... This unit will de-scent your clothes ! Leave them over night with this in a closet or bathroom. Get educated on ozone use. Follow instructions carefully. Ozone is an irritating oxidizer. Ozone can cause breathing difficulty at too high a doseage. Ozone will oxidize metals it comes in contact with, and can result in tarnishing / corrosion. At "high / treatment" level setting, this little unit used in a small space is just barely capable of producing troublesome levels of ozone that could be a concern. The unit seems very high quality and reasonably priced at $30. I have had other units for much more. The manufacturer included good instructions and a 100% warranty you can extend to 2 years by registering free online. If this little unit keeps on going like it has for the last 3 days i am very pleased.

*UPDATE: 10.07.25. Adding a video of the sound. This is the quieter sound. It gets louder. I don't have time to keep bumping them to make it stop. I'm dropping another star. I don't recommend. (Sorry. It's not letting me add the video right now. I don't know why. I'll try later.) *UPDATE: Writing on 09.27.25. I've been meaning to update for at least a couple of months. I'll leave my old review, but I'm changing the stars. These lost their power shortly after I started using them. I always had one in my garage, and I have one in a guest bedroom where I keep boxes. I like their portability and use them to keep the smell of cardboard away, use in the kitchen while cooking to get rid of food smells, and sometimes in a bathroom when cleaning as it helps remove the chemical cleaner smell. But these aren't keeping up. It seems like they've lost their initial ozone power. If I put my face close to it, I can smell it, but they're just not keeping up like the last brand. Unfortunately it's past the return point and I'm disappointed about that. Dropping from 5 stars to 2. Original review: So far, so good! I used to buy some that look like this, P L I X I O. I don't know what happened to them. They just weren't working as they were supposed to anymore. But these have been good so far and are creating that 'fresh air' smell. I use these when I'm cooking to neutralize the smell of the food. Not that the food smells bad, I just like a clean air smell. Currently I have one in the garage to keep it fresh in there. It really helps to keep it from smelling like stale cardboard boxes and 'garage'. The other is in a vacant property that I'm moving into. They property management had cleaners come in and spray some awful scent, so I've been working to get rid of that. That also seems to be working pretty well. I don't recall if it has a timer, but it doesn't matter because it would be easy enough to get a separate timer and plug it into that. The thing I like most about this particular style is that I get to control output. It's important. I get to choose if I need a little help or lots of help. That feature alone is worth it.

Seemed to work ok but started making crackling noises and there was no option for intermittent running without be lit up. Ended up distrusting it because of the noises it was making; might have been ok but not particularly trustworthy of the brands coming out of China.

I have a small bathroom right off my kitchen. There's no window and no bathroom fan. Not sure why someone would do build the house like that..... Anyway, I use this thing in there. It gets rid of unwanted odors very quickly. Just don't have it on high and breathe it in after it's been on for a bit. This is actually my second one. The first one lasted 7 years. So I'd say that's pretty good.
