Axe-Throwing Made Easy
We decided to start axe-throwing as a hobby, and this 3 Pack Competition Throwing Axe set from Amazon turned out to be the perfect place to begin. As beginners, we wanted something that felt reliable, safe, and worth the investment without going overboard on price and this set checked all those boxes. Right out of the box, the axes were already set up, which was a huge plus. There was no assembly required, no confusing instructions, and no extra tools needed. We were able to take them out and start practicing almost immediately, which made the experience even more exciting. First impressions definitely matter, and these axes immediately felt sturdy and well-balanced in hand. The handles deserve special mention. They have good grips that feel secure and comfortable, even during extended throwing sessions. Safety was a big concern for us when starting out, and the grip combined with the overall build made the axes feel safe to handle and easy to control. There’s a reassuring weight to them that makes each throw feel intentional and consistent. In terms of quality, these axes exceeded our expectations. The materials feel durable, and nothing about them seems cheap or poorly made. We’ve been using them regularly in our backyard, and they’ve held up extremely well with no signs of loosening or wear so far. The quality is truly superb for a product at this price point. Speaking of price, this is a great deal for what you get especially if you’re looking to try out a new hobby like axe-throwing. Three solid, competition-style axes at this cost is impressive. Overall, we’re very happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it to anyone curious about getting into axe-throwing.

Axe Throwing Expert’s New Go-To Weapon
As a competitive thrower who competes weekly in both WATL and IATC leagues, I've used just about every premium axe on the market. I was skeptical about adding a new brand, but the THRWCLUB Competition Throwing Axes are a legitimate, top-tier offering, and the value in this 3-pack is unmatched. The core of any great throwing axe is the steel, and the 1065 High Carbon specification here is spot on. It provides the ideal balance between hardness (for edge retention) and toughness (for resisting chipping when you hit that inevitable knot). I've put these through heavy rotation practice, and they hold a beautiful, razor-sharp edge with minimal maintenance—just a quick touch-up between matches is all they need. The 16.5-inch length is precisely within competition specs and the balance point is absolutely perfect for consistent, reliable rotations (whether you’re going for a half-spin or full-spin). The weight distribution feels excellent in hand, providing enough momentum to stick deep without wearing your shoulder out during extended practice sessions. Having a reliable three-pack means you always have backup axes ready, minimizing downtime and maximizing target time. If you are serious about axe throwing and want axes that perform at a championship level right out of the box, look no further. GREAT DESIGN - POOR QUALITY
PROS: Design: 5 stars. They have the perfect size and weight, and are very comfortable to throw! CONS: Durability: 2 stars. The handle breaks easily and the blade dulls quickly. They start to show significant wear after only 3-4 sessions.

Best choice
I’m really impressed with this 3-pack of throwing axes. Each axe has a nice balanced weight, making them easy to throw consistently. The blades arrived sharp, and the handles provide a comfortable, secure grip during practice. They feel solid, stable and well-built, and after multiple throwing sessions, they’ve held up very well with no loose heads or noticeable damage. Great quality for the price, whether you’re just getting started or have some experience with axe throwing. I would definitely recommend this set.

Sharp and sturdy for sticking into wood
Very nice throwing axes. They come already sharpened with rubber ends to keep them from damaging anything in shipping. They are very sturdy and they stick very solidly when thrown at wood. I just use pallet wood to create my targets and they work wonderfully.

Great sharp axes
Amazing axes. Works great, nice and sharp. Very heavy and sticks into wooden target, but be careful, handles might not be able to be replaced. Overall A+

Good throwing axes
Good axes. I have recently started going to axe throwing club. Still learning. Wanted to always own axes to throw. It has good balance. I am still learning but these feel good. They are sharp and stick. Useful to cut few branches in garden as well. They come with blade protection.

Great quality.
Great balance and sharp edge! These throwing axes are well-balanced, sharp, and durable. The wooden handle has a good grip, and the weight makes them easy to throw accurately. Great for beginners and experienced throwers alike. Only downside—handles may need extra protection to prevent chipping. Overall, excellent value.

Great quality
These are beautiful axes that are easy to throw. Great quality and weight. Only thing I didn't like was they didn't come with sheaths.

Great for throwing practice
My husband used the KW throwing axe a few times and I’m seriously impressed. The blade is sharp and durable, and the beech wood handle feels smooth but grippy — no slipping even after repeated throws. The weight and length make it well-balanced for beginners. What impresses me most is how well it sticks to the target. It feels solid, with no wobble on impact. Plus, the craftsmanship looks great.
