Gives you a perspective on editing
Beautiful read. It is a very small book but covers the fundamental basics of editing to give you clarity. Must buy. But it is costly. Very tiny book.

I think the ability of the writer to express certain ideas and emotions that drive the editing process to very clear wording is impeccable. This is a book that is fast to consume and go through it’s not a heavy read and a good start to navigate the thought process behind things and the storytelling is pretty good.

Un éclairage indispensable sur le travail de monteur, écrit il y a plus de 30 ans et révisé il y a 25 ans, et pourtant toujours aussi pertinent. Walter Murch a pu accomplir des projets en traditionnel et en numérique. Ca permet d'offrir une perspective de rigueur et de réflexion au montage (process parfois rendu trop rapide par les softs de montage VS la pellicule et ses contraintes)
