These beans make really nice coffee.
Really like this coffee. Makes a very good latte. The beans are a good quality and grind down to a flour like consistency and the aroma when you open the bag is coffee.

Best coffee beans ever totally addicted to this. So creamy nice and strong no bitterness to it either. My hairdresser if Italian and we gave her some to try and she loved it , had a expresso and said exactly what I said no bitterness no horrible aftertaste its really nice.

Our favourite so far
Have bought this several times and really enjoy it. They really should say on the label what percentage of Arabica is in the mix and it has varied in strength and flavour from time to time.

Very delicious if you know what you're doing and have the right equipment.
If someone complains about these beans not being great because they're stale, then they're saying they have no idea how to make a great shot of espresso. These relatively stale beans - if you compare them to buying freshly roasted beans - can still produce comfort blend deliciousness without having to be fresh off the roaster. The large Italian brands like Lavazza have really figured out a way to produce/roast/prepare their coffee in such a way that seems to circumvent the dogma in the coffee industry that places lots of emphasis on freshness. If you pull these beans on a capable machine with a capable grinder, you can get a deliciously sweet and nutty ristretto time and time again. The best way to keep and store the Italian blended beans from Lavazza is to portion the bag off into jars and freeze immediately. The reason for this is that these beans are effectively fresh in the bag, but once you open the bag their taste/freshness deteriorates very quickly - like within a few days. If you store and use the beans from the freezer, you'll capture and hold onto this newly-opened-bag freshness for up to a month or so. Of course, in the end taste is subjective. These beans, however, are not bad because they are stale. You may not like them, but you can definitely get some tasty shots with them.
