Circus Flohcati, is an exciting, push-your-luck card game from famed designer Reiner Knizia. During the game, players will attempt to collect all the acts required for a flea circus that will be the toast of the town. But be careful! Risk too much and any ringmaster can go bust. I appreciate that you can play it with only 2 people, but I think 3 or 4 definitely makes it more fun. There is some math at the end when you're adding up the values of the cards, which can be a bit more difficult for those of us who aren't mathematically-minded, but it is a very simple game overall. Basically everyone is drawing cards from the deck face-up on the table, and you're trying to collect 10 high-numbered cards in different colors. It's simple, but it's still really fun; a great game to decompress with after playing something very mentally taxing. I bought this as a gift and although it does look interesting, this is not a board game as mentioned in the title. It's a card game.

the artwork on the cards is fantastic, the game has a press your luck gimmick, but never feels to harsh, and it plays quickly enough so that it doesn't drag on. i consider it a good warm up game for a game night
