My Very Picky Cats Love It
I have 3 cats, one of which I thought might have been having food allergies, so I've been buying more natural food for him, such as grain-free, gluten-free, and meat-first types. All of my cats are picky in one way or another, but my oldest, for whom I've been buying this food, is the worst when it comes to being finicky. He would actually go hungry for days rather than eat what's put in front of him. Of course, I'd usually feel bad and end up giving him something else, but was wasting a lot of food. I saw the limited ingredients in this food and liked that the first ingredient was plain ol' meat or fish, not by-products, bones, or all sorts of fillers. I wasn't able to find a variety case, so I took a chance and ordered one case of tuna with chicken. I should also note that my most finicky cat does not like ANY other chicken cat food. He loves real chicken, but not whatever is called chicken in most cat food. My other two don't like it either. However, he absolutely LOVES this Fussie Cat tuna & chicken. My youngest cat, that I rescued from outside last year, also loves it, so I also feed it to her as well. The ingredients really are actual shredded pieces of tuna and chicken. They are not little chucks or pieces pressed into square shapes like most commercial cat food. They are actual shredded pieces of meat within aspic - NO gravy at all. Some of the pieces can be a bit large, though, so when I put it into their dish and see some large pieces, I just cut them up a little. No big deal. Overall, my cats really love this, and I love it because it contains real meat, which is what cats should be eating.

Pure quality
Our little one is very picky when it comes to eating. Only wet food that she consistently eats. This product is quite pricey but good quality without any additives.

A Great Cat Food
Our cat has a weak stomach. He cannot eat dry cat food, and most cheaper canned cat food. For years, he is 12 years old, he would vomit once a week or more often. The vet tried different medications and we tired many other brands of cat food which helped, but did not cure his vomiting. We started using Fussie Cat food about a year ago, but continued to use dry cat food, too. (You see, we did not know it was also a problem for him} Over past 4 months we went exclusively to Fussie Cat food and he has stopped vomiting...that's right, stopped! He eats less, has a bowel movement less often, and looks great. He likes the food, so I like the food! We will use Fussie Cat food for him exclusively for here on out. Joe Williams

Cats Love It
Cats love it but the texture is inconsistent. Cats love the gel and pate portion but the long strands and chunks they leave on the plate. It is way too expensive to leave portions uneaten

WOW. Just WOW....
My first thought on opening the can was the smell! I thought...I COULD EAT THIS!!! And then when I looked at it, I thought...I could REALLY eat this! Its actual FOOD, actual tuna and chicken in a nice broth. All three cats ate every bit of this without even a question. This is GREAT cat food!! We are subscribed and sold on this!!! I thought I would never find good food for my babies, we have had them eating Fancy Feast and I wanted something they would not just lick all the juice out of; in their defense, I'd have done the same as the meat looked like fake rubbery junk. We also switched to Newmans Own dry food, which is really good, actual food too!

Cautiously trying this flavour
Why did you pick this product vs others?: My cat was ok with this product and it didn’t get her sick. I will continue to watch her as I continue with this particular flavour

This USED to be great cat food
Over the last few years, Fussie Cat has ruined their product, while simultaneously raising MSRP. Prices have increased while the quality of food has diminished. All the good flavors my cats used to love are now filled with cheap, dry, large chunks of weird dark meat that they refuse to eat, or are bulked out with liquid. Clearly, corporate penny-pinching has ruined another formerly great product. I strongly recommend you find another product. This brand isn't what it used to be.

Inconsistent Quality of food
I have been buying this food for over 5 years because this is the only canned food my cat will eat. Over the last 2 years the quality of food has become inconsistent from can to can. Large hunks of this brown fish (?) started appearing in the food which I threw out because my cat won’t eat it. This last case of food was totally different from any previous cans of food. It now has at least 50% of this brown fish ground in with very little aspic that my cat loves. It doesn’t even look or smell like the previous years of food. The price has risen to over $2 a can while reducing the quality and I am sure increasing the company’s profits. When my cat passes away (she is 22) I will no longer purchase this pricey food.. it is a shame because it was great product that made my cat happy.
