Very handy faucet.
We have had deck mount hot water for over 20 years. Very handy for that cup of coffee or tea in the morning or for instant soup any time. I was disappoints that the package did not include a needed 1/4" tubing compression nut - a 10 cent item. Really folks? Otherwise installation went easy. Too much time to find a 10 cent item however.

This item is a must have
I love this item. I’ve actually been using one for quite a few years in the kitchen and you can have instant hot water for tea or coffee, etc. it hooks up to the sink nicely. No more heating water up in the microwave or on top of the stove.

Wish I had bought one of these many years ago
This has worked great at dispensing hot water. You can adjust the temperature of the water in the tank, although it has to be below the boiling point or else it will periodically gurgle and spit out some water from the faucet. (The dial to set the temperature does not have temperature readings so, like many dials for refrigerators, you have to use trial and error.) I've set my dispenser to just below the boiling point, which has been fantastic for making tea, heating mugs and serving dishes, and more. If I had known how convenient it was to have super hot water on demand, I would have purchased a dispenser years ago. I hired a plumber to install the dispenser, which I'm glad I did. This was a new installation, and the building code in my area requires a shut-off valve for a dispenser (and that's a good idea, as some other people's comments show from when they had a line break, leak in the dispenser, etc. and had no way to shut off the water supply only to the dispenser) so the plumber easily could take care of that. In addition, the dispenser's intake line had to be teed into an existing water line, which is more complicated plumbing work than I could have done. Unfortunately, I also need to have an electrician to install a new outlet. The outlet under my sink is for the disposal so it has to be off most of the time. By contrast, the hot-water dispenser needs an always-on outlet. For now, I am using an extension cord to another outlet, but that's only a temporary solution. So, be sure to check that you have an available always-on electrical outlet for the dispenser because if you don't, you or your favorite electrician will be installing a new one.

Good product. Poorly designed fasteners.
Now that it is installed, I LOVE this instant hot water faucet. It works well and is steaming hot ( Neven on the highest setting ) . The installation was not the greatest in my opinion. You need to buy a connector to hook the copper tubing to your cold water supply. That was a minimal cost. The part that is poorly designed is that the whole faucet is secured with a wing nut that is impossible to reach to fully tighten. I ended up having to purchase a faucet tool ($11) to reach the wing nut. I hope this product lasts, because I do love the convenience, but I dont look forward to replacing it.

Works as advertised
The product has worked as advertised since I installed it two or three months ago and so far has proven completely satisfactory. Installing it was straightforward for me and should be for anyone with even fairly basic home maintenance/repair skills. The installation instructions are thorough and clear. If you don't have a hole available in your sink or countertop for the hot water dispenser, you'll need to drill a 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" hole. This could be easy or a gigantic, messy hassle, depending on what your sink and countertop are made of, how things are laid out, etc. Or you could sacrifice your pull-out spray hose or soap dispenser, if you have one of those installed, and use that hole. Note that you will need electricity under the sink, either an outlet or a junction box -- everything safely installed and legal, of course. If you don't already have that, getting electricity within the reach of the dispenser's power cord (about 24", if I recall correctly) could be a project unto itself. If you have a dishwasher or garbage disposal installed, you're probably all set. TURN OFF POWER AT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY ELECTRICAL WORK. The hot water tank itself measures about 6" w x 13" h x 7" d, so make sure you have somewhere under your sink to hang the tank that near the hole where you will install the hot-water tap. Before you go to the hardware store to buy the tee fitting you'll need, check the sizes of both the cold-water supply line to your faucet and the cold-water angle stop (the shutoff valve) under your sink. You might need to buy an adapter or two as well as the tee fitting and some teflon tape (thread sealer) to assemble everything. The hot water dispenser comes with a 1/4" supply tube, either plastic or copper, depending on the model, and a ferrule and nut for a compression fitting. Ask someone at the hardware store who knows what he/she is talking about if you're not sure exactly what parts you need -- there are a million variations, sizes, and configurations, and it can be easy to get confused. I haven't measured the water temperature, but it is definitely scalding hot at the default setting. The product is a luxury and a convenience that I use multiple times a day.

Great buy for the money!
This is our 3rd hot tap we have purchased. They normally only last for 5 years as there isn't an anode to divert corrosion. That said, we continue to buy this model as it’s the best there is in our opinion. The price was great, shipping was fast, and the unit was as expected. Thank you!

This is our 3rd unit in the past 10 years. The first lasted 3 years (it was the one with a plastic tank and only warranteed for 1 year), and the 2nd (SS tank) didn't fail, but was showing some symptoms of oncoming problems with the heating unit, and as it was more than 5 years old, we chose to replace it. They come with a very good warranty, but we've never used it, as none have failed within the 3-year period, in our experience. This is so much better than an electric or stove top kettle. We use it every day, for many purposes: tea, coffee, instant soup, baby formula, and getting a head start for anything that needs cooking on the stove top and requires water added. This latest version comes with a really nice faucet, so much better looking than the previous one. Even our parrot likes it better (he loves seeing his reflection in the surface. LOL) This may cost more than an electric kettle, but it's so much nicer and faster.

The instructions are very clear and the tap looks good and works well. Only concern is the tap materil appears to be chrome coated plastic so I wonder about durability. Have had it installed for a couple of weeks and everything functions as it should

Works great and was exactly as described but was short a pressure coupling nut and had to go to hardware store and purchase one. Lost 1 hour of plumbers time.

I purchased this unit as a replacement for a unit that was no longer working (the existing unit was well-past its shelf life). It installed easily into the existing space and works just like it should. I would have given it 5 stars but the manufacturer didn't include any compression fittings for inlet pipe so I had to go to the local hardware store to buy some. It was very annoying, and I just don't understand that kind of thinking because there was no way to connect the inlet pipe without the compression sleeve. Anyway, after installing, it's been working great for 10 days now, so no further complaints.
