One of the best Japanese manga in a good-quality, convenient print edition
This is one of my favorite manga, and its become a favorite of my daughters as well. Book-wise, the quality of the 3-in-1 edition is high, and far more convenient than buying each book separately. My daughters have read and reread it many times, and the cover is still in great shape and looks brand new. Story-wise, Rurouni Kenshin is a classic filled with intense action as well as moments of adorable humor. I definitely recommend both this version of the book and the series!

I read it in one go, as it was so good
You would not be disappointed with the storyline. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have read 15 volumes of Ruroken and wouldn’t have purchased the 3-in-1 edition. Wakatsuki should not have mentioned Kaoru Yumi, a living Japanese actress, being the model for Yumi in Ruroken. This kind of comment shatters the Ruroken world. Anyhow, the way Yumi died and the cleavage so unlike other Ruroken female characters left a deep impression on me.
