I am very happy with this product. I checked a lot of reviews of this item from other sellers before purchasing. Some of the reviews (of the other sellers) said that their charcoal filter was just a slim piece of sponge. Obviously I did not want this. Having read the reviews for this item, I purchased from this seller. I can confirm that the charcoal filter from this seller is exactly as it should be. Also, my extractor is on the smaller side, but still the norm for a standard sized uk hob. I was very happy to discover that I can get three charcoal filters from this one, and nine grease filters! This is extremely good value for money. They were easy to cut with kitchen scissors. The charcoal filter creates a bit of (expected) dust when being cut, so be prepared for that and maybe cut on something you can easily wipe down, like the draining board. The grease filters change colour when it is time to change them; on average every six months. I have included a picture of the order and position they need to be positioned. I have tested them and they work effectively, reducing smells when cooking. I can recommend this item and will purchase from this seller again.

All the other filters I bought before were super thin and didn't last very long and the absorbency of grease and odours was minimal to those filters. Disappointed with the thin and short-lived options, I stumbled upon this product. The first impression which surprised me was its amazing quality. The product is thick and large in size so you can cut to your needs. Cooking multiple times daily for my large, discerning family, this filter impressively captures oil and effectively prevents unwanted odours. I am genuinely satisfied with its performance, I must say it has exceeded my expectation in keeping my cooking space clean and odour free. I will summarise the overall experience to help others to understand these grease filters before they make a buying decision; 1. Are these grease filters Universal? Yes, they are of Universal size which is quite generous to fil almost all cooker hood models. 2. Are they cut to size? Yes, the white stripy filters need to be cut to size which is pretty simple using scissors(It is usually best to remove the old ones then use them as a cutting guide for the new ones). 3. Contents of the Pack: I bought 2 pack grease filters. I installed one in my cooker hood and have another for the next time we change them over. 4. Does it help eliminating the odours? Yes, it really grabs the oil and prevents the funny smells. I am really pleased with it. 5. Absorbency: is excellent and I'll give 9.5 out of 10. 6. How to install? As per Brand's instructions with the product, I put the white stripy side facing downwards and it worked great. Does it have Saturation Indicator? Yes, the white stripy lines are actually the Saturation Indicator which, upon turning red, it is advisable to change your grease filter. I am really very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and effective solution to keep their kitchen free from grease and unwanted odours.
