Are they lead free? If it’s stainless steel when why is it not dishwasher safe?

The wire whip material is aluminum and the bottom is stainless steel. why is it not dishwasher safe? Because most dishwasher detergents (liquid, gel, pacs, whatever) have high amounts of phosphates in them that will tarnish and even start removing the anodized coating from aluminum products. It is best NOT to put aluminum in the dishwasher or it will end up looking like a tarnished watering can.

I need replacemt mixer for eggs my kitcheaid # k5kss

Make sure it covers the model you have

How do you clean? I put it in the dishwasher and the round metal contact part got dirtier!

Wash it by hand. Dishwasher soap dulls and “etches” that kind of metal
