We needed this pole to pull out the robot pool vacuum. It works great, is very sturdy and stable and doesn't bend. Great price for the material and strength and I love the pretty blue color.

I’ve been using this for several months now, and I can see why some reviews mention that it breaks easily. First off, take a look at how many sections it has—12. This means you shouldn’t extend it all the way; once it’s fully extended, it’s not as reliable. I use it at 8 feet, with the sections evenly distributed, and it works just fine. No, this isn’t exactly premium quality, but considering the price, I think we get what we pay for. Don’t expect a heavy-duty pole, but if you use it carefully, it’ll last just fine. It’s designed to be shipping-friendly, so it’s split into 3 sections. Also, yes, the coupling edges are sharp, so it’s a good idea to wear gloves if needed.

I bought this because the pole my pool vacuum came with did not extend long enough. Works great, easy to use. No problems to date.

This telescoping pole is very sturdy and with the twist locks can be adjusted to any length within its limits. Does the job very well. Good product.

Overall, this pole is efficient and cost-effective. It expands easily and seems to stay at the set length until I choose to change it. However, I do not like that the pole is hollow with no cap on the end that I hold. I have an above-ground pool, so the water line is shoulder height for me, and when I pull the pole out of the water, the water drips out of the end near me and I have to quickly turn the large pole so that it can drain into the pool. As the pole is full of water it is a bit heavy at that point.
