This is the best shaver for someone just beginning to shave or having sensitive skin, me myself having sensitive skin lol this really minimizes the amount of irritation I have and still gives me a really close shave and leaves no stubble.I also really love the fact it has its own cleaning station so u don’t have to sit for long periods of time cleaning the blade out all you have to do is put the shaver in the cleaning station and press the button down and let the station do its magic, it does make a little noise but it’s only for 15-30 seconds.I highly recommend this shaver it is a little pricey but the shave experience is worth it and you won’t regret buying this shaver!

Best foil shaver ever. Clean bald head is my mantra.Cleaning system is not perfect. You must wash and clean this in the shower. Once a week.

I heard good things about the previous Series 6 that this model is based off of, so I decided to give this a try. I decided to do a wet shave with this to gauge how comfortable it is to use. So far this has worked wonderfully! I spend a little extra time under my jaw on my neck since I know that's a problem spot for me, and even wet I only had slight irritation on the "turbo" setting. Nothing some post shave balm didn't cure. I do not use an electric all the time, but I want to start. The care center is a nice bonus and the replacement cartridges are reasonably priced. It you can try to refill them, but right now it seems more hassle than it's worth. The replacement blades are not bad either, but they are slightly more expensive than the old Series 6 yet still cheaper than Panasonic depending on the razor.My previous foil shaver was okay, but it would chew up my face around my mouth and low neck. This definitely gets closer than going with the gain with a blade, but not quite as close going against. The benefit to with this is less irritation when going against and the possibility to use it "dry" in a pinch or with some electric pre-shave, besides wet. I definitely recommend this.

It’s a decent shaver but I’d strongly suggest spending the extra money and getting a more expensive model.The biggest issue is that sometimes the shaver just pops off while I’m shaving my face which is quite annoying. Sometimes more than once per shave. This is because it is detachable so that another attachment can be popped on and it just comes off too easily.It does shave my face fairly smoothly but I sometimes have to go over the same area multiple times to get it fully clean. That being said, I can’t express how much I love not ever cutting my face or having razor burn.It’s hard to shave crisp clean lines with the shaver but that’s what the clipper attachment is for, which cuts through hair like butter. The battery life is quite good and the docking station makes charging and cleaning it very easy, you just pop it in and it does all the work. Buy a pack of replacement cleaning fluid cartridges for the docking station and just keep them on hand and you’re good to go.Again, my only regret is not spending the extra money for a higher end model.

I’ve been using a Phillips for a while, but was excited to upgrade to a Braun. This product is awful, battery consistently loses charge during shave, the trimmer mechanism doesn’t cut, the razor is less effective than the far cheaper Phillips. Do not buy, and I will not be spending money in this companies products. Disappointing.

I really like the comfort and closeness this razor gives. Works very well wet or dry but for a really close shave I think a lot of it is in the pre shave lotion. Use a good quality pre shave and see if this razor doesn’t provide a really close shave for an electric razor. For me about as close as a 5 blade manual razor. Try it and see. Don’t think you’ll regret it.

I bought this for my adult grandson. He liked the features and operation of the unit. Highly recommend it.

no irritation on my sensitive skin, however it keeps missing even after 20 runs if you havent shaved for a week

I've been using a blade for ages and used to have one of these back in the 90s. The 6 series seemed like a better than average model so I chose this. I remembered the cleaning station and it always worked well which this one does, with added fill detection and flashy light. It cleans faster than the old one, under 5 minutes. There is the cost of the refills but there are alternatives. The razor has 2 speeds, charges fast and a charge lasts a few shaves but it charges while in the cleaner so it keeps up on its own. Indicators for battery, clean, turbo, head replacement and button lock. It does give a good close shave but I find a blade to be closer. For a daily shave this one does just fine. The price is good considering the clean station and a cartridge comes with it. Luckily the box did not contain any venomous spiders so no worries there. That alone sold me on it.

It is much quieter than older version I owned. Shaved well, as expected. Getting the trimmer on and off is a little inconvenient, but I knew it might be before the purchase. I hope the fit doesn't loosen with time.More plastic components than expected; what happened to solidity over the years?

Normally I avoid electric razors because I have sensitive skin and they irritated my skin and left razor burns, but not this one, provides a very smooth decently close shave. Clean & Charge Center and travel case are added bonuses. Also has 2 modes, turbo for a faster shave and gentle mode, both modes work well. Highly recommend.
