Eightwood 10pcs BNC Female Crimp RF Connector 50 ohm for RG58 RG142 LMR195 Cable

I was wanting to install both the female and the male fittings on RG400 coax.... Vendors seldom mention RG400. And going on the assumption that if it works for RG58 then it will work for RG400 is bad logic I'm told... HOWEVER... I installed both the male and the female units on RG400 and it worked great.... the collar fittings are a little tight over the back of the fitting but that's the way you want it to be... DO NOT crimp the little center pin... male or female version.... there's a little hole that will wick the solder into the hollow of the pin... this soldering is easy peasy... just get some really small diameter solder... soldering tip (really important) ..squeeze or bend the center pin a little bit so the center wire so it doesn't move around while you touch it with the soldering iron.. it doesn't take much solder... These are quality fittings and they work well on RG400

The Eightwood BNC Connectors are made very well. I would have given 5 stars but there was no instructions included! There is some QR Code to their website (maybe?) but my phone would not link to it!? My crimper pliers did not have a small enough die for the gold colored center pin, so I was able to gently solder the center pin into place. But only after sacrificing the first center pin!... The outside ferrel was crimped into position (RG-59 pliers worked!) and held nicely. After completion, I added a heat shrink tubing to seal up the BNC connector. These connectors are good quality, 50 ohms, lock into place, are universally connectable and quasi easy to install. (New crimpers are on the way!) I recommend them. I only wish Eightwood would sell extra center pins!

I have bought these several times, and they work good. The main use is antenna leads and patch cords for repaeters. They have been a good valve every time I reorder.

Does not fit quality LMR 195 cable but they did work well for smaller coax cable

I had to buy these because the center wire inside the RG-58 cable I got from the Brushbeater store was too large to fit into the center pins in the BNC ends that came with my crimped and stripper tool set. These work great.

1A Qualität. Endlich mal BNC Stecker die Maßlich so gestaltet sind, so dass man sie vernünftig crimpen kann. Die Bohrung vom Mittelstift ist ausreichend gestaltet, dort passt die Seele des Koaxkabels mühelos hinein. Die kleine (Entlüftungs-) Bohrung ist auch vorhanden. Die Presshülse hat das richtige Maß und eine vernünftige Wandstärke. Ich kann diese BNC-Stecker nur empfehlen. Ich glaube ich bestelle mir gleich noch einmal 10 Stück.

I use this product a lot, male works great and fits an RG58 cable very well. The female version or the one with the male pin does not seem to fit the RG58 cable very well (pin), even crimping the pin will not give you a snug fit so you have to do some extra work to make it crimp properly. But the male one with the female pin everything crimps nicely.

The item was OK. Unfortunately, the seller uses Purolator for delivery. Purolator almost never delivers to an apartment (technically they can, but their drivers look for any excuse to drop off at a convenience store.)
