Relatively strong, handles weight well, easy to pull, folds very small
This is a brilliant cart. It's not the toughest of carts, but it's definitely tougher than you think. Its works great for the purpose, which is for me is photo and sometimes video shoots to haul around gear. It works really great in sand and over stairs which surprised me the first time I used one. The wheels dig into the soft sand and usually hits hard sand within a few inches, still giving the majority of the wheel out of the surface and simply cutting through the sand as you pull it. The design uses the good old fulcrum in physics to make the weight disappear and you will be amazed how much you can carry. AND it folds up into a really small space.. AMAZING!!

Great yard tool
While this cart is pricy , I think the cost is worth it. It’s extremely easy to handle , very stable to wheel around my property and when I’m done folds up to almost nothing , I can tuck most anywhere until I need to use it again. Really glad I made those purchase.

Highly recommend for RV, boaters & traveling, gardeners
Love this cart!!! Aluminum makes it light weight & won’t rust. Made well & easy to assemble. Folds up easily to store & transport in car, RV, truck, boat, etc. Wheels roll smooth, working on wood docks/piers & bumpy grounds. Holds lots of gear: fishing, beach, gardening, tools, workshop, bulky items no problem & remains stationary on piers! It seems like it’s priced high, but when you factor in that it’s a quality product & will last for years unlike similar products made from less quality materials. What I love most about this product is that it rests well on uneven surfaces & piers with little chance of going rolling (down hills, going in water, etc) unless someone pushes it, falls into it. We’re very pleased with cart & highly recommend for many used especially on piers for fishing & boaters & marine use.

Works Well for DockDogs Competitions
I bought this because we recently got into competing with out rescued Lab in dock diving. We load up our Toyota Sienna or Highlander with anywhere from one to three people and 1 to 4 dogs. Space is at a premium, so I was looking for something that could carry a ton of stuff but fold up and not take up too much room in the car or under the EZ up. Also, it had to be easy to open and close, require no tools, be lightweight, easy to wheel around with one hand in case I am by myself with the dog in the other, and big enough to carry the dog kennel which is a hard plastic SkyKennel for a large dog. Believe it or not, this does the trick. When I first saw it in the driveway, I was skeptical to say the least since it looks too small. But once I started loading it up and wheeling it around,I was amazed. This is what a normal load looks like for me: EZ Up (10x10 I think), Outdoor Mat/Rug, Cooler, 2-3 Chairs,2-3 Full Tote Bags, 1-2 Folding Kennels, and the Sky Kennel I can fit everything but I do have the put the Sky Kennel on top and bungee cord it to secure it in place. I would love to leave the Sky Kennel behind but my dog opens everything else. Sometimes the trip from the car to dogtown can be a real hike so this makes a huge difference in the set up and tear down process. And I am not worried about handling it all on my own if my family opts out of the fun. That is a big relief because I am totally addicted to the dockdogs. The down side is the price. There are a lot of cart/dollies/handtrucks out there and this was easily twice what most of them cost. I know I will get a lot of use out of it and it was something very important to me, so I went ahead and got it. If you need something like this and you will use it all the time, then you can't go wrong.

Great cart
It’s a great cart, can load all my supplies in it and go boat to boat. It’s definitely over priced but so far it is worth it, rolls with ease, super easy to set up and collapse. Haven’t bought the back piece yet but want to, for certain things it could help. Definitely better than the wagons spend the extra coin and get this one over those fabric wagons.

Sturdy, well constructed, easy to assemble
I needed a wheelbarrow that would easily store in my horse trailer, and yet could still haul a heavy load such as manure, hay bales, or saddles and tack. This does the job perfectly. It takes maybe 1 minute to unfold the cart and slide the handles into position. It folds and stores quickly. I used it to unload my trailer at the event which was a huge time saver. I was able to stack 3 bales of hay in it by removing the front gate, (2 bales side by side, and one on top) while keeping the rear gate attached. The front gate slides out vertically and is easy to remove. I bought the rear gate as an add on. Note-- the rear gate is NOT included in the basic cart price. I also hauled 3 buckets of water at a time with the cart, rather than carrying them by hand from the faucet at the barn at the event. I could have easily fit 6 buckets in the cart if I had needed to. It was not only very easy to haul water, but it kept me clean and was easy on my back - no sloshing and banging dirty buckets on my legs, and the cart doesnt tip and bang- very little water sloshed out of the buckets. The bicycle wheels roll easily over gravel, dirt, grass, etc... Stall cleaning is easy with the cart, only one trip to the dump bin with this, and it was easy to dump the manure- just slide the front gate out, and tip the cart up. And after dumping the manure, I washed out the inside of the cart with the extra water in the water buckets, and then refilled the buckets at the faucet- so easy. And the aluminum cart wont rust , it washed out very well- the manure came right off. just wipe down with a rag, and now the cart is ready to haul your tack. I also bought the bicycle attachment because my horse trailer was parked away from the event barn and I knew I might need to make trips back and forth. As long as the ground is not too hilly it works fine- I am doubtful it would work well up or down a hill of any steepness only because I tried it at home and on dirt, my bike tires tended to spin -- the cart was too heavy (for me) to pull with a bike without spinning my tires, and I am not heavy enough to put weight on the tires to get them to grip. On FLAT ground it was perfect- I made trips back and forth to the trailer and it was such a time saver. It had no problem on bumpy ground either, the arm attachment will swivel. It attached to the stem of my bike seat easily- But Id keep the tool handy in case it comes loose. I found the assembly to be easy and logical. All you really do is attach the wheels. I had no problem inflating the tires after putting them on the cart. It uses a regular bicycle hand pump. All you need is a screwdriver for assembly. I have tried other types of folding wheelbarrows or buckets with wheels, and they are all either too small, or too flimsy, take more space in the trailer or awkward to use. Folding cloth wheelbarrow- too small, hard to dump, and it gets really gross and dirty! the muck bucket on wheels- hard to dump and awkward to pull along, hard on my back, and not versatile and its bulky. If you are considering those-- dont bother-- this is worth every penny, and I dont know why I waited so long to buy one. I LOVE it.

Perfect for heavy cargo in irregular surfaces, light yet sturdy
This is my second Tipke cart and it is so perfect in irregular surfaces, grass, up down steps, etc. I am an artist and work art festivals in all types of surfaces and with very much and very heavy equipment, booth, poles, artwork, etc. These carts are absolutely perfect, lightweight yet sturdy the last one lasted me about 12 years of heavy circuit hauling. I use it with the back for artwork and bags and without the back for carrying long poles of the booth. Where it excels is in hauling; handcarts and dollies let you feel the weight of the cargo but this cart feels like pulling nothing even when loaded to the gills. Also the pneumatic large tires allow for easy pulling uphill and downhill in all types of terrain, even goes up and down curbs and shallow steps with relative ease. After folding, stands upright behind my booth compactly and out of the way. Love it!

Tipke Fold-it Cart 'as advertised'
I recently purchased this utility cart for my 105 pound, 64 year-old wife. She uses a wheel barrow when cleaning flower gardens; raking leaves; watering 'stuff'; hauling dirt, driveway stone or rocks; picking up fallen limbs in our woods; etc.. She might push the wheel barrow (large contractor size) all over our 10 acre property multiple times during the day. I had been eyeing a two wheel cart for a couple of years, thinking it would be easier for her to use but... the only ones I had ever seen had steel frames with wood sides and floor plus they did not fold. Since storage would be a problem with the 'non-folding kind' and since they were made of wood that would rot after being left outside for a long period of time, I decided they would not be an option. Then I came across the Tipke 'aluminum' folding cart. Since it folded up, storage wouldn't be a problem and since it was made of aluminum, leaving it outside wouldn't be a problem either. After reading the many positive reviews, I decided to buy one. Wow! When I got the box which wasn't all that big, I was afraid it wasn't going to be as big as the wheel barrow she had been using but... when I opened the box, put the wheels on the cart and unfolded it I saw that it was actually larger than the wheel barrow AND it was much lighter and more stable. She hasn't used it yet but I'm sure she will love it! Great purchase! Oh, by the way, since it is aluminum and can easily dent, I cut a 1/4 inch piece of scrap paneling to lay in the bottom of the cart to help absorb the shock when she throws rocks, limbs or driveway stone in it (shouldn't need it for the dirt, leaves and dead flowers!). When I initially unfolded the cart and tried to put the front gate on it, I had trouble getting the one end to go all the way down. After working with it, I found that prying the flange out away from the cart a bit, the front went into place much easier (used a rubber mallet and wacked it a couple of time at the top). When I showed it to my wife, she was quite pleased with the size, weight, balance and stability but was concerned that there wasn't a rear gate to keep stuff inside (she really fills up the wheel barrow) so I ordered one. The rear gate is easy to install but you do have to remove the handles which is somewhat awkward. The gate slides into place quite easily. The hardest part is pulling the handles out and then putting them back in but still doesn't take but a minute.
