Looking to build a driveway for a light car. how deep do i dig these down? do i need a sub base? is the idea to allow people to just lay these + stone

I laid these on a base of compacted road scalpings, covered with coarse sand and a weed-proof membrane. The total depth of the scalpings, sand and honeycomb is probably in the order of 100mm, but it has withstood numerous visits by skip lorries and heavy delivery vehicles, with absolutely no sign of movement.

can these grids be used on a concrete base

I don't know. Mine was a base of compacted sand which made it easier to put the grids down.

How is the delivery made? Will a lady be able to take delivery on her own or is it kerbside only?

Driver was very helpful and delivered to side gate. A reasonably fit female can lift and move the box/boxes. I'm female & nearly 60 and could manage to lift these.
