Having a mounted hose reel is such a great way to keep your hose stored. I have a hose reel stand for one of my hoses but the trouble with those is that they are clunky and a pain to move around when using them. Unlike the stand type, the retractable mounting system adds efficiencies in many ways. Mounting the reel was pretty easy and adds a nice modern look. The reel helps organize the hose and makes it much easier to move around the yard without having to pull on the hose for more feed. The reel is smooth when retracting the hose. What I like most about this reel system is that it includes everything you need and you wont need to worry about buying a compatible hose and hose attachment. Having everything included in the box makes installation simple. The fireman style hose head is also a nice touch and works as advertised. The hose itself has been good and I haven't experienced any leaks thus far. The 1/2inch hose is a little smaller than I'm used to but still works just as good. The only thing I would change is maybe a more robust bracket but so far I haven't had any issues with the one that comes included.

We reviewed several retractable hoses before settling on this one last summer. It’s design works perfectly with our hours colors and the area we use it. My husband installed it next to the pergola in front of the house and it is not even noticeable. People have commented on having difficulty with the retractability aspect of the hose - we have had no issues. I am not a big person and can use it with out any issues, it take a little practice - you do not have to extend hose to full length prior to retracting like some have said. We did remove and store it over the winter and it did not take up much space in the garage. We have only used for one season but have not had any issues with leakage. The weight of the hose can feel a little heavy when you have it fully extended (for me but not my husband) but so does a regular garden hose. I love the convenience of not having to roll up the hose by hand and am very satisfied with this purchase.

The retractable hose reel is a great tool to have mounted in the yard. I put up a wood post for this (rather than mounting to the house) and it is well worthwhile for the ability to swivel more than 180 degrees. Sometimes we leave the hose extended for a few days, and other times we reel it up right after usage. Either way, the hose retracts back into the casing without any issues. As others have noted, it is wise to guide it back in more slowly rather than allowing it to pull in at full speed which could cause problems due to momentum and force generated. I recommend going with the larger diameter hose (5/8). The 1/2 in is a little bit constrained on the flow of water, but not bad either. The muti-sprayer that comes with the hose reel is junk. The sprayer cracked on the first use and was an absolute waste. The makers should either replace it, or remove it completely. That is the reason for only four stars.

18 months of ownership while using this in summer months only in Wisconsin. Work Great last summer. This year I noticed there's an internal small leak from the center of the reel. Doesn't look too be repairable without damaging the cover. So after using it we turn off the water supply to the reel. The nozzle it came with only lasted a couple months of use. Hose and retractable reel are very nice. Hose is only a 1/2" inch hose but I'm not filling a pool with it.

This retractable water hose has been one of my favorite purchases of the year. It makes watering plants quick and easy, and when you’re done it retracts cleanly, keeping the backyard neat and clutter-free. It also helps keep me dry compared to dragging a traditional hose around. The included sprayer feels a bit cheap, so I ended up upgrading that part, which improved the overall experience. After about two years of use, I’ve noticed some fading on the housing, but it hasn’t affected performance. Overall, the hose system itself works well and has been very convenient. As long as you don’t expect premium accessories out of the box, it’s a solid and practical setup.

Aquí mi resumen: - El producto si llegó a tiempo. - Materiales sin aceptables de acuerdo al precio. - El sistema retráctil de la manguera NO FUNCIONA. Al momento de retraer o enrollar ma manguera no funciona. - Pésima calidad, era el primer uso y no funcionó. Es una lástima que se ofrezcan productos con pésimo control de calidad. Que lleguen bajo pésimas condiciones al usuario y darte cuenta después de haber gastado tiempo en su instalación. NO LES RECOMIENDO COMPRAR ESTE PRODUCTO.

To be honest, buy the Gardena one! That one is much better! (I had Gardena for 9 years and should have replaced with that instead of this POC!)

I added this as a new upgrade for my garden and surprisingly it is really a great product and high quality hose too. Buy it now with no hesitation
