Watched a you tube video to see what was all involved. Bought the part and it works!! Tricky part is keeping track of what went where when putting back together. It can be done by you though just takes time and saves you about 300 bucks or more if you took it somewhere to be done

It works but not as expected
This is not an OEM part. It fits, it works but the door latch action is different (and not as good) as the original or a true OEM part. However, the cost was about 10-15% of what the official GM part would cost. So I am happy with the part but it is important to know what you are getting. I’m not sure if I would buy it again. I need to use it for a bit and see how well it holds up.
