I went for the OFFICIAL Weber Cover and am so happy that I did! It fits like a dream and the heavy duty Velcro straps hold the cover close to the body of the grill so wind gusts can’t dislodge it. Looks sharp and the workmanship is solid! Be sure to check the size carefully and get exactly the correct size cover for your grill of any vintage!

If you have the Spirit 200 with side controls make sure you purchase 3179 model which is primarily advertised for the 300 and 400 series, it is a much better fit at 51" width. It even states it on the box. I made the mistake of purchasing the 3178 model for my Spirit 200 which was advertised as the one for my model, at only 48" it didn't fit well. Very happy with it and it seems to be a more durable material than the 3178, that birds managed to tear holes in with their talons just standing on it. Tthey may have made the material more durable on the 3178 since I bought that one several years ago. My new model 3179 is very nice and should last a long time keeping my Spirit 200 well protected better than the Chinese knockoff I purchased for half the price, after the 3178 and before this 3179, that the weather turned into a piece of junk falling apart/tearing just sitting on my grill. It's a little pricey in my opinion but well made and worth it.

Glad to have found this perfect fitting Weber grill cover. My original one was so old and looked terrible. This new one looks great and protects my grill nicely. Definitely a good value for the money spent.

Here I go again on Weber products. You can purchase grill covers all day long from any number of manufacturers but I've learned my lesson. The Weber cover fits better, lasts longer, stays looking great and the Velcro closures hold up in high wind situations.

The Weber Premium Outdoor Grill Cover fits my large Spirit Series gas grill perfectly and feels very well made overall. The material is thick, durable, and does a great job protecting the grill from rain, dust, and general outdoor exposure. In terms of coverage, it wraps the grill nicely without feeling too tight or too loose, and it stays in place well during normal weather conditions. The water resistance works as expected, and it gives peace of mind knowing the grill is well protected when not in use. The only real downside is the Velcro straps. While they help secure the cover, they seem to wear out faster than expected and lose their grip over time. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it does take away slightly from an otherwise premium-feeling product. Overall, this is a fantastic grill cover with excellent fit and protection, but the Velcro durability could definitely be improved.

This cover is expensive, and I doubted it would be worth it, but I'm giving it 5 stars because the velcro straps on mine stayed strapped through an ef-1 tornado this weekend, even when my grill was tossed across my padio

Yes, it’s a little more expensive than some of the generic covers, but the quality is definitely noticeable. The material feels thick and durable, and it fits my Weber grill perfectly without being too tight or too loose. The water resistance is excellent and it has held up well through rain and sun. I’m really hoping it will last a long time, and so far it looks promising. Sometimes it’s better to spend a bit more for something that actually protects your grill. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

Very costly for the material used.

Feels sturdy, straps are perfect. Not sure what the other reviews were talking about. Update: it's been through all the seasons now, and the colours havent faded. Water and dirt just repels of this, so it doesn't really get dirty either. It's also been through 70km/hr winds and the velcro stayed strapped. I'm very impressed. I highly recommend paying extra for this. It's actually a quality product, and not just a logo premium.
