Yes Sir Baccara Were Great!

They were great weren't they? Gorgeous spanish europop disco that just can' t be knocked. Great to see Yes Sir I Can Boogie having new life breathed into it courtesy of that tv ad. In context it proves what a classic 70's track it was and still sounds wonderful with that warm pumping disco bass and other tantalising exotic rhythms. Baccara never fail to raise a smile and a tapping toe whenever they are played. They deserve their renewed interest.

Not the original hits...

Unfortunately this set of Baccara songs don't sound like the hilarious originals, but newer versions or maybe digitally 'enhanced'.Moreover the song listing in Amazon web page is not correct. This is - to my great disappointment - NOT the original Baccara 'Baccara' record.Tracks on this very CD are as folows:1. Ay,Ay Sailor2. Body Talk3. Copacabana4. Darling5. Don't Play Me A Symphony6. For You7. Gracias A La Vida8. I Do,I Do9. Love You Till I Die10. My Kisses Need A Cavalier11. Parlez-Vous Francais?12. Sorry, I'am A Lady13. The Devil Sent You To Loredo14. Torero15. When I Get Lonely16. Yes Sir, I Can BoogieOnly for die hard fans.
