I have been looking at getting a starter collection of watercolors for a long time. One of my requirements was to get single pigment watercolors and getting a good collection of Daniel Smith, Senellier or similar would've been very costly. This set contains 28/32 single pigments which a great way to test out a lot of well known pigments. From here I can purchase single colors that I like (Like Jane's Grey from Daniel Smith). Overall I am very happy with the quality and have also bought a mixing palette from Mijello which is excellent and can hold 36 colors (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0173S3G0M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

I ave only sampled 12 of the tubes since I am waiting for my empty palette to arrive from Amazon. So far I am blown away with the beautiful colors and the generous size of the tubes. I have been following the amazing paintings by Joly Poa on YouTube and asked her what watercolors she uses and this is her exact set. I am truly thrilled with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone from beginners to professional artists.

Very good for beginners as it has basic colors, very similar to the holbein watercolors. The quality is better than the watercolor sets labeled for professionals, and it's very good for its price. However keep in mind this isn't quite the kind of paints a professional would use. I highly recommend to people who are beginners in watercolor or just like to paint in their spare time.

This set has everything you need and more! Great artist quality. I have enjoyed using them, they will probably last my whole life

Never had better watercolours. Gorgeous colours. Incredibly easy to mix. Mixed with Sennelier: incredibly easy and beautiful transparant result. Sure to buy more colours to expand my range: just out of greed for more of this delicious material.

I just got this set today but I already love them

Very good set for beginners not too expensive. A little too many similar blues, cobalt, peacock and Prussian blue. Pleasant texture and good mixing. However, light resistance is not guaranteed like indigo.
