Meguiar's Scratch-X,Fine Scratch and Blemish Remover, 7 Oz

Bought it because I was running out. Damn, had to use it already - good thing it works great. Meguiars products are the best. Scratch is gone.

Works great on bird poop that sat on my car in the hot sun for days. Stain was etched on to my clear coat. Washed the car, clayed the area and use this on the stain… cleaned it right off.. like new again!

I have a scratch and I was hoping to use this to get rid of it all. But that didn’t happen because it was a little deeper than I thought. Although it did better than I thought or expected. You really have to look or have the eye of a painter to see it.

Ive been using it for a while and its been pretty good, removes fine scratches and swirls good, just dont press too hard on the applicator pad because it can get paint off, i noticed red on my pad. Other than that it's good.

An excellent product that does what it says it does. It is not “fix a gouge” in a bottle. Deep scratches that go through the clear coat and into the paint or beyond, you need a body shop or touch up paint. I had some paint transfer on my 2017 Corvette that made me sick. This removed it and you couldn’t tell the difference between the area i used the Scratch-X on and the paint around it. A surface scratch on my wife’s car that was about 6” long was absolutely invisible with about 15 minutes of elbow grease. I highly recommend this product. Follow the instructions.

Useless. I have tried this on scratches ans scuffs on cars paint a few different times and it never does anything. I like Meguiars products from years gone by but htis is useless. pick somethring else to remove scuffs or lite scratches.

I used this on scratches on silver duco, really didn’t notice mush of a difference however living near the ocean all my chrome furniture has a rusted appearance. I’m going to sit in a good light and see if it works on the chrome legs of coffee and dining tables.

El pruducto cumple con su función, en mi caso funcionó muy bien, por supuesto que no hace miráculos, solo si los arañazos son leves, si con los dedos ya notáis el arañazo seguramente no lo quitará porque es profundo pero les aseguro que lo mejorará mucho. Los arañazos del capó eran muy leves, se fueron en 2 minutos, el del atras ya se notaba con los dedos, es profundo, pero podéis ver en las fotos como lo mejoró. Compré el producto en primer lugar para el salpicadero porque pasé la aspiradora y lo arañé y además que es plástico, en teoria la pasta no sirve para esto. Lo arañazos eran un poco más grandes que en la foto de "antes" pero después de frotar unos 45min ya casi no se ven, 45min más y seguro que se irán. Recomiendo comprar las esponjitas para pulir el coche, no es lo mismo que un drapo, van muy bien (se ven en la foto). A la hora de desengrasar el plasticó no lo hagáis con alcohol porque lo quema (lo deja blanco). No tengo foto pero donde hay la manecillas de la puerta lo tenía muy desgastado, de tanto uso, pero con DOS pasadas no hubo ni rastro de lo desgastado, quedó como nuevo.

AGGIORNAMENTO IMPORTANTE: Le macchie sulla plastica sono davvero tenaci! L'acqua non basta per eliminare il prodotto! Ma per fortuna ho trovato una soluzione:CHANTECLAIR puro su una spugnetta. Un bel risciacquo e magicamente ogni traccia di abrasivo sparisce! NON comprate prodotti esoterici per la pulizia: spenderete un sacco di soldi inutili! A marzo 2015 ho acquistato un'autovettura nera metallizzata: consapevole del fatto che sarebbe stata difficile tenerla pulita, ho iniziata a lavarla con una certa frequenza e a lucidarla di tanto in tanto; le mie morbose attenzioni hanno ottenuto come risultato una serie innumerevole di micrograffi, dovuti allo sfregamento di spugne, panni e stracci vari. Nonostante la mia grande attenzione nel rimuovere tutti i detriti piccoli e grossi sulla carrozzeria è inevitabile che qualche granello mi sia sfuggito. Ho provato con la cera liquida e con la cera in pasta, ma la situazione non è migliorata di molto: certo, era super lucida, ma in controluce la carrozzeria era una riga unica. Cercando su internet ho trovato molte persone che hanno utilizzato Scratch-X ottenendo ottimi risultati; quindi, perchè non provarlo? Risultato: incredibile... davvero efficace! Seguendo le istruzioni ho versato delle piccole quantità sulla carrozzeria (debitamente pulita) e attraverso un lucidatrice rotorbitale ho cercato di applicare il prodotto in modo uniforme, passando più e più volte nello stesso punto, senza eccedere con la forza. Con un panno in microfibra ho rimosso l'eccesso di prodotto ritrovandomi una carrozzeria davvero perfetta: tutte le righe superficiali sparite, persino quelle del cane che un bel giorno mi ha lasciato sulla portiera per salutarmi! Probabilmente l'ottimo risultato è dato anche dalla lucidatrice: a mano non avrei potuto stendere il prodotto in maniera omogenea, ma sopratutto mi sarei rotto la schiena! Tra lavare l'auto, asciugarla e applicare Scratch-X ho impiegato 2 ore e mezza: trovate quindi una mattina o un pomeriggio libero da impegni! ATTENZIONE: non applicatelo su parti in plastica (sopratutto nera) perchè si formano degli aloni bianchi! Dovrebbero andar via con dell'acqua e una spugna, ma se riuscite evitate di passarci sopra! Se volete quindi una vernice davvero perfetta, acquistare questo prodotto davvero ottimo! PS: ripeto ancora una volta: Scratch-X è PERFETTO per le righe superficiali (causate da sfregamento), ma nulla può contro la vernice saltata a causa di pietroline, muretti e guardrail. Per questo tipo di problemi l'unica è affidarsi a un buon carrozziere! Buona lucidatura a tutti!

No problem removing like swirl marks and fine scratches. Deeper scratches cannot be removed completely but that's fine since this product doesn't claim to do so. Also leaves no haze or dull area, leaves nice shiny gloss. Highly recommended
