It took me about 30 mins to install both drive and passenger sides on beast mode. These handles are way better than stock BMW ones, you will not be disappointed. Here are a few tips that made my job a lot easier:1- Most likely you will break some clips, but is ok. BMW made these doors with a ridiculous amount clips and snaps that you don't even need. I broke the front plastic clips on both button blocks and I was still able to install them nice and secured. For some reason the driver side front handle cover was missing half it's metal clips, maybe because some work was done on this door by preview owner. However, only two clips were needed to re-install firmly.2- I used a 3/8 drill bit to break through the 4 handle spots that you are supposed to melt. Then I used a needle nose to remove the remaining plastic, it made my job fast and easy.3 - After you are done with your work, make sure to detail clean your beautiful BMW inside and out.4 - Always remember, life without a BMW is just not life.

This is the only handle replacement that I found on Amazon for my 328i 2012. You could get an OEM replacement for double the price. To me, the quality is the same as the original would be without the coating that melts off and becomes sticky as they are both plastic and weigh the same. Good packaging and is exactly what I imagined. I also thought it was cool that the seller has a video on Youtube showing how they replaced the OEM handle. These snap-on covers are fantastic for a 2014 328i. Took maybe 30 seconds for each one. Really stressing over the goopiness of the inner handle, and the exorbitant cost to replace it, and I did not want to mess with pulling off the door panel with all the potential collateral damage (broken clips, rattles after reinstall). These covers solve all that. The fit is perfect, there is a lip on the edges of each cover that allows the cover to snap into the gap between the outer and inner handles. The carbon fiber version looks cool and when installed it truly looks factory. The feel of the door handle is improved. The covers are a little bigger so the door handle feel is more substantial and perfectly comfortable.

If you have a late model BMW with the rubber door handle insets then you you have a problem with the door handles eroding and coming apart every time you close the doors. BMW officially says its not a problem they want to be concerned with. So if you don’t mind black stained, sticky hands and a really ugly door handle, then press on..... But if you do, these are the answer to your problems. They are great!

The product is good, well built, good material. But you can’t install it yourself. Forget it. Unless you have all the proper tools and you have previous ability with mounting doors.If you look at the videos there are two professionals working on it. There are several steps, that if you don’t have the ability and tools you will end up damaging parts. If still you were able to remove the handle cover, remove the screws and remove the whole door panel (in this step you may end up breaking the plastic brackets), then it comes the surprise. The handle is fixed to the door panel with molten plastic from the handle itself. It’s not molten glue, it’s molten plastic. Before I did any damage, I gave up, reassembled the door panel and now I’ll to take it to a professional to handle it. Too bad.

I purchased a nice 2013 328i from Carmax. Everything about the vehicle was tits, except for the snotty, goopy driver’s door handle. Gross! I was picturing the repulsive slob whose hand must have tainted it. Carmax has a seven day no questions asked return policy, and I was seriously going to get rid of the vehicle because of the door handle issue alone. I knew there had to be a work around, and that did not include spending a mint at the dealership for the repair. Amazon to the rescue! Found this snap on imitation carbon fiber door handle cover and it works brilliantly! It takes literally seconds to install and it looks and functions great. No need to replace the entire handle. To be clear, these are plastic with a carbon fiber pattern printed on the outside - these are not real carbon fiber and I did not expect that at this price. The carbon fiber printing is of high quality and the fit is perfect. The piece is just flexible enough to bend around the door grab and slide into place. There is a tiny lip on the transition which is just enough to hide my light colored (tan) factory grab and make a clean line between this piece and the bushed aluminum face of the door grab. It is a much better fitting product than I expected and I would recommend this as a nice visual dress up for your BMW (especially with lighter color interiors as these grabs always get dirty and stained over time)I have not tried to remove these, but I would assume you have a good chance of breaking it if you have to get it off. I am sure a good body shop person could get them on and off, but they are a snug fit once you get them in place.

I am EXTREMELY IMPRESSED AND HAPPY with this product!!! I have always driven BMWs, and have had this problem with almost every one. I have spent hours poring over threads on the Internet trying to find a fix. I was so excited when I saw these, and they are absolutely perfect. They were out of the pristine packaging and snapped into place on both doors in under 3 minutes. No more sticky, disgusting mess! I very seldom write product reviews, but this one definitely deserves all the stars I can give it. Highly recommend!

Perfect fit as replacement. Looks like original. Nice and smooth material. A long wait for it to arrive but worth it.

Replacement handle insert is a perfect. Replaced my old handle on my 2014 BMW 435. It doesn't come with any instructions, but you can just follow any of the many guides on YouTube. Pretty quick to change over and makes a huge difference. Handle feels like new.

For a simple clip-on solution these fit quite well. There are some small gaps at the very top and bottom, but nowhere where you regularly touch the handles, and not at all visible (unless you're nit picking). For a 15 second install, I'm very happy. Compared to the sticky gooey mess these are a massive improvement and a fast, simple, and very tidy remedy.
