The Amazing Afterlife of Animals: Messages and Signs From Our Pets On The Other Side

I bought this as a way to help me cope after the recent passing of our beloved Pomeranian Timber from heart disease. It's hard to have the words to deal with loss, let alone to come up with what happens when our loved ones pass and so I spent time looking for books, podcasts or anything that can help me deal with this tremendous loss. That's when I came across this book. I have read this book cover to cover, about 3 times now and it has helped me tremendously! This book covers not just what happens to our pets when they pass onto the other side, but how they are still around us and what we can do to honor them and help ourselves through our grief. The author details her experiences that led to her medium ability and gives examples of how her readings have helped her previous clients, including actual proof that no one else would know. If you are facing a loss and don't know where to go to, I highly recommend picking up a copy of this book and sitting down and reading it. It will make you feel a lot better, and will put your mind and heart at ease, knowing that your companion is going to be okay and is not too far away from you.

I purchased abd this book because I needed to feel something other than the pain from losing my soul dog at almost 13 years. It helped me a lot to settle my troubled mind and heart. I recommend it if you have lost a best friend (dog or cat) and you feel you need more closure.

I had to make the difficult decision to put my 11 year old German Shepherd to sleep on Friday. I knew it would be hard - but I didn't think it be THIS hard. I was more upset about my dog's passing then I was about my own mom's passing. That dog went through everything with me... getting married, having a baby, COVID, and the death of my own mother. Waking up the next day and seeing the empty couch where she use to lay along with complete silence, no dog to feed or let out, physically pained me. I went on Amazon desperate to find something to read to bring me some relief, comfort, and some sort of justification for the intense feelings I was having. This book checked all the boxes! I finished the entire thing in one morning. The way the book is written makes it very easy to read and really makes you think about everything in life, not just our beloved pets. I really enjoyed hearing Karen's stories about the trials and errors she faced throughout her life. The stories of her sessions with other pet parents made my feelings of intense grief feel valid and like I wasn't alone. Her perspective helped me realize that although my beloved Lucy is no longer physically here, her soul and spirit lives on. Someday we will be lucky enough to be reunited when my time here on Earth is done. My favorite part of this book was the ending - I feel such a sense of peace after reading this book. This book will make you laugh, cry, and make you think about things in a different way. I cannot wait to read her other novels.

I was recommend this book after I lost my cat and it has gotten me through this dark time. There are moments where this book brought me to tears and made me smile. It has also helped me reframe my mind in terms of losing a pet. While the pain of losing my cat is still there, I am approaching my grief with fresher eyes and a different mindframe. I hope this book helps anyone who needs it, in the way that it helped me.

The absolute best feel-good book you will ever read if you have ever lost a pet. I lost my Frankie in 2021. A friend of mine introduced me to Karen Anderson, and it changed my view on the afterlife and our animals. My Frankie came to me several x after I lost her. After reading Karen’s books, and talking to her, my whole world changed. I learned to look for signs regarding my girl and she helped me realize that our animals are there for us even after they leave this world. Karen provides, comfort, compassion, and insight into the world of the afterlife and animals. She has a beautiful Gift from God and her stories are so heart warming. You will finish the book knowing your pet is still walking beside you! I recommend her book to all my friends and those I meet. Truly one of my favorite books ever.

Oh my gosh! What an amazing eye opening book. The author helped me see the value of my cat. Who knew my cat could help me see my life’s issues and help me solve them. I always knew what my horses and dogs did for me but wow the author takes the cat’s abilities to a whole new level. For example my cat shows me what I am feeling and how I am acting by mirroring my actions. BTW that is my mirror cat. Then she took it to a whole new level and helped me see who I am. I never have felt like I fit into this world. I am an earth healer. Now I not only know who I am but why I am here. It all makes sense. I have been to counseling. It cost me a lot of money. I still did not real get fixed. This was the piece of the puzzle that was missing, my own private counselor. Who knew it was my cat (my lay around the house feed me pet). I highly recommend you get this book if you have a cat even if they are outside all the time. Especially if you do not understand or think you are having problems with your cat. You will be surprised how this self help book will change your life. i no longer have the problems I had with my cat because I fix my problems and that fixes my cat problems. Amazing!!

This is an excellent book for any age to help with the loss of a pet. I think it could also be applied to humans in some ways. I gave my grandson a copy to help with the loss of his dog.

Received in very good condition, pages were so crisp and the hardcover was sturdy too..a must read.

A well set out book with many chapters covering many aspects of loss and the afterlife of animals.
