My favorite dummy rounds for dry fire practice and draw practice. Perfect!
I don't bother to write reviews, but you feel compelled to when a product is quality in comparison to its counterparts. I have these dummy rounds from Bayattoo in 9mm, 10mm, .380, and .223 and they are all high quality and function perfectly. Don't bother with other companies, this is the cream of the crop for this category of product. The weight is real and solid, the materials are great, the fit is perfect, they look great, and they help you stay safe when practicing your dry fire. I also appreciate the little case they come in. Worth the money every time. Please make .357 Sig so I can replace the other company I just had to purchase for dry fire.

Outstanding Training Tool
I bought 2 packages of 12 so my wife and I could both use them for practice drills to keep our skills sharp between range visits. We both have enhanced CWL's and carry every day. These are excellent. The weight feels very accurate and the dimensions are spot on. They load and extract properly in all 5 of the pistols we tested and every magazine including 7, 10, 12, 15 and 17 round capacity. They look and feel very well made too. These are extremely useful for learning to trust carrying and drawing your weapon while concealed carrying with one in the chamber. I know how hard it can be to get over that fear and these are a powerful training tool for that. Much safer than training with live ammo until you are confident in your skills and weapon. Never mix these with live ammo in a magazine though. All or nothing will definitely help you avoid an accident. If you treat them like live ammo as you should they are a fantastic training tool for shooters of all skill levels and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They do the job well for what theyโre supposed to!
Theyโre nice! I like the whole drilled in the round so you know itโs not a live round, therefore not easy to confuse. They work well for dry firing exercises as well as they chamber well and cycle good.

GREAT PRODUCT...
Great product for dry fire training and for protecting the "firing pin" of a rimfire. ANOTHER USE: Load one as the first round into those larger-capacity magazines. If you lose count, as I frequently do, it will "misfire" and force you to investigate. This will prevent a true dry fire and protect your firing pin from damage. I know it sounds crazy, but I would rather give up 1-of-25 rounds than have to replace the firing pin.

A very informed review. Imo at least.
These work great in running the action/feeding/to a lesser extent ejection. The rubber cushions get holed pretty quickly so I CAN'T really suggest these as the best firing pin protectors. Old guns in particular seem to have sharp firing pins whereas the newer striker fired guns seem much more blunt generally. I bought these in .22lr (those not so good), 9mm, and .38. I eventually bought another brand's mil/LE multi cal pack and I wish I'd done that initially although that pack was limited to 9, .40, 556 and 308. If you're gonna dry fire 10k times these aren't for you. If you want to RUN DUMMIES IN LIVE FIRE, these are great. They clean up in water and soap when gritty. If I was going to use them like that I'd take out the rubber cushion cause it'd just get fouled and end up in your firing mechanism anyhow. Bottom line for dry fires is that the rubber cushion isn't very tough. I'd go Azoom or Tipton for protecting a firing pin, esp in a fine gun. I think striker fired guns are less prone to wear although it's nice to be nice your gear. 3 stars cause they aren't THAT good for dry firers. BTW, the best training to clear a jam is just to use an expended cartridge case - that can simulate better than anything, so maybe these are kinda pointless in a way. They are well machined I will say. If the primer pockets in these were filled with the deadening cushiony stuff in Azooms then these'd rock.

Product is 5 stars, Customer Service is a whole galaxy of stars
This is one of those occasional purchases that has made me really happy. The snap caps are great, but what truly amazed me was the customer service. In every way, this was a great purchase. The product is excellent. These dummy rounds [snap caps] are made of steel: I checked with a magnet. They are dimensionally correct. I have never before seen snap caps like these, with their replaceable rubber head pads. It seems like an excellent design, which should provide great protection for the vulnerable firing pins of rimfire firearms. The rubber pads are replaceable, so the snap caps should last forever; and, if they donโt, you can get more pads. I have always used A-Zooms. Those are great, but you cannot replace the little pad in the center of the โcartridgeโ head. With the Bayattoo snap caps, you can. You can also rotate them, so that the firing pin keeps striking different sections of the pads. There was one small problem: The product information states that the box โprovides additional 10pcs spare pads.โ Well, my package did not include the spare pads. The box did, however, include a card which stated: โIf you unfortunately receive any items that couldnโt meet your expectation, please kindly give us an opportunity to correct the issue. We will do our best to resolve the issue till you are satisfied.โ Well, their โbestโ is truly outstanding. I emailed them at 7:26 pm on a Sunday. I got a response at 7:59 pm. THIRTY-THREE MINUTES LATER. Their representative was as charming as is the English of the guarantee. The rep gave her name as CandyโฆI am mentioning her name because I want her boss to notice, and promote herโฆand she wrote that she had already submitted an order. In the Amazon product information, they promised ten spare pads. Candy sent me FORTY. We had further correspondence, because she wanted to provide me with the tracking number and to keep me updated. In all of her correspondence, she was the perfect customer service rep: knowledgeable, wishing to provide excellent service, and doing everything perfectly. I received the spare pads within four days of requesting them. Technically, three days, since I wrote on a Sunday evening, although that was probably a Monday morning for Candy. Anyhow, the whole thing was a pleasure. And, I think itโs unlikely that you will find the spare pads to be missing. Candy wrote โI appreciate that you contacted us to give us the opportunity to correct the issue you met.โ That seems to be the attitude of this company, treating my little complaint as an opportunity to improve. They do continually suggest that you write a review. Hey, I donโt mind. I am very much motivated to write this. I am impressed. If you order these dummy rounds/snap caps, I think that you will be, too.

Good for dry fire and jam clear drills!
Got these to practice reloading/dry firing/misfiring. So far they work a treat, though I'm not sure how much help the rubber pad for the firing pin block is, I CAN see the mark on it from the pin strikes, so hopefully it's helping to prevent wear there. And it's good for simulating a dead round on the range when mixxed randomly into mags. They are fairly hefty, and measure pretty exactly the same as their 5.7 real ammo counterparts.

Hard to find snap caps for 300 Blackout. Very expensive for what they are
These work perfectly for safe function testing but are very expensive compared to a more common caliber like 308. Needed the set but feel price gouged.

Works with lever action
I made the mistake of buying the cheaper plastic rounds, they were junk right out of the box. These work phenomenal in my 44 magnum lever action, weight fells very realistic, feeds np.

Well made, good customer service but be wary if using a semi-auto
Well made item and functioned fine in a bolt action 22lr. Failed to feed in both 22lr pistol and semi-auto though as the shape of the front is too pointed and fouled on the feed ramps. So if you are getting these for use in a bolt action 22 you are fine but buyer beware on semi-auto. As they are sent from the US the return was slightly more complex than with UK items but the seller responded promptly.

Good .22LR dummies, which serve the purpose well while letting us to stay safe!
Good dummies! My colleague had bought them recently and they are cycling well in his rifle. My experience was a negative one, which I blamed on these dummies as being dysfunctional ones. The problem actually had been caused by a technical problem in my gun. My apologies to the seller!

Highly recommend, great for safe training and practice
This review is for the Bayattoo 9mm safety/training rounds - 12 pack. I normally do not review products but felt inclined to review these safety/training rounds as I see value in them, particularly being a safety oriented product. The rounds arrive in a sturdy plastic clam shell case. You get 12 training rounds which is a decent amount in my opinion. You also receive a 10 pack of replaceable firing pin cushions which is a nice touch. I expect these to last a very long time. The weight is very comparable to live rounds which makes this great for training/drills to mimic real use. The fit and finish on the rounds is very good with a nice solid construction and a decent sized hole on each round to indicate that it is a safety/training round. You could take this a step further and mark each round with a red sharpie for added safety. The rounds cycled flawlessly with no issues noted. I definitely recommend these safety/training rounds for those training at home, doing drills, or just for basic familiarization with loading/unloading and cycling. I will update this review should anything change.
