A Proper License Frame for 2006 F150 Fx4
This is a good product!!! I recently had to change my rear license plate on my 2006 F150 Fx4. The existing frame only had two screws holding the plate in place. One of which, the hole for the screw was enlarged. The mounting area on the rear bumper is plastic, so I used a shim to make that screw tight. But replacing the existing frame with a Alpmosn frame that has 4 hole places made the plate more secure. All I had to do was drill the holes for the 2 remaining screws. ALSO, the screw covers that come with this Alpmosn frame are sized properly to fully cover the stock screws (self-tapping Slotted Hex Head Washer screws) on my 2006 F150 Fx4. Also, I replaced the stock screws with OttoSpeed License Plate Screw Kit - Set of 4 Stainless Steel Screws. These are exact duplicates of the factory screws for my truck; except they are stainless steel. I did place a drop of silicone grease on the cover caps so they would snap in place easier.

The frames look fine and work well for the purpose, it's also nice having complete set of screws and black caps.

These have held up very well. Came COMPLETE with everything the auto dearship needed to fully install. Even has matching screw covers to snap in place over the screws that hold it in place. Impressive. Very nice quality. I would buy again!

Looks great except the back of the frame scratched my paint when I tightened the screws. I recommend putting a flat rubber washer behind the plate where the screw holes are to keep the frame a few mm away from your paint.
