This barre is perfect for my at home practice, but could also be used in the studio. The height is easy to adjust with the turning knobs. Assembly was super easy. I love that the base support is also adjustable so that you can rotate the bases to store flat against a wall. If you don't want the double barre, just don't add one on during assembly! You will want to sand the wood as it is not smooth. There is a piece of sand paper included, but the grit is too fine. I would suggest getting a more rough grit paper to start, then finish with the provided fine grit.

This ballet barre is awesome and the exact same one they use at some of the ballet studios I've been too. You have to tighten the barre's each time you use it, which is totally normal for a portable ballet barre. It even says it on the barre's to tighten each time. I saw a lot of reviews about it being wobbly and that is not the case at all if you tighten it at every time and use it properly. A ballet teacher will even tell you "if the barre is wobbling or leaning, you are NOT using it properly. The barre is for balance not for putting your weight on". Ballet barre is hard but if you stick with it you will have long lean muscles! If you are not already in shape, once you get stronger the barre won't seem "unstable" or "wobbly" because you won't be relying on it for so much assistance. Vita Vibe is a great company and make reliable products. The barre is top of the line and made very well, it is very strong!! The wood is made of Ash wood which is what baseball bats are made of. It is really easy to move around and assemble, it's light weight. It lays flat against my wall and is out of the way when not in use. The price is very reliable and it shipped fast.

It was very easy to assemble and tighten by myself, the bars are sturdy they do not slip when putting my whole weight on it and they are easily adjustable, I would say it’s very good but a bit pricey I wished it could be less wobbly but it works just Fine for me

This is the best ballet bar for the money. It costs nearly twice as much as another one, made in China, that I had purchased (but later retuned because it was cheaply made, so not even worth it at all!) There's a noticeable difference with this bar made in USA versus the foreign knockoff. First, the fittings are better made, so the unit comes together faster and don't hurt my hands. Secondly, unlike the Chinese one that says not to use in a humid environment, this Vitavibe can be washed with soap and water. (Yay, no rusting so I can store it, out of the way, in my convered porch) Also, this ballet bar is made of aluminium and so can be easily moved around. And lastly, this unit can be conveniently stowed aside because the bottom can be easily swiveled to lay flat with the bar (unlike the other designs). Btw, beautifully-finished wood on the bar. This barre is great and so easy to put together or take apart as needed. I like the wooden cross bars that give it a nice feel, and the rubber feet make it non-slip. It is really light, which is great for portability, so sometimes I put hand weights on the legs to give it some downward stability when dancing.

This is a great ballet barre for home barre routines. It's not for the cardio barre workouts. It isn't sturdy enough for that. It's only suitable for classic ballet barre routines where the barre is used primarily for balance, not to bear your full weight. It's easy to assemble and adjust, and it's perfect for an apartment, which is where I have mine. The real wood feels nice under my hand, and being able to adjust where the legs sit on the bottom feet lets me get it closer to a wall so I have more space to move. If you're looking to do pull-ups from the floor, look elsewhere. If you want a place to do your tendus, this is perfect.

I installed this at my wife's dance studio. Even though we have wall barres the class got really big. Took about 10 minutes to put together. Everything was well made and fitted right. Simple and easy to assemble just like it should be. The barres are sturdy but not heavy at all my wife is very happy. The kicker is that it is made in the USA way to go guys... Just bought another two the first one I have had for years is still 100% terrific but we have expanded so I got another two of this wonderful product. Very sturdy, well packed, shipped promptly, I have no complaints at all. Thank you Vita Vibe for keeping Americans working and not outsourcing you guys are the very best!

I bought this bar to do Cardio Barre at home, and it works great! I like that it's light so I can easily move it around the room while I'm exercising. The trick is getting the clamps super tight to make sure the bars stay put. Like other reviewers said, it's not super stable so read the description carefully to make sure it will meet your needs. I know that if it's wobbling too much, I'm not using my core enough. But it's better than a chair for balance because it's at the right height.

Love this! Well made, easy to assemble. My daughter loves that the bars are real wood. The frame is easy and light enough to move room to room. Arrived within a week. Very little packaging, initially I thought they must have forgot pieces, but it was all there. If it starts to loosen, it’s simply to tighten. No tools required. Feet are padded, no slipping and doesn’t scratch floor.

Fantastic, my daughter loves it and it’s not too big/bulky to be moved around. Arrived quickly and was easy to set up. The only “con” was that it was expensive but I think it is worth it for a better quality product.

Been using this for a few years now and it handles the weight great. you need to get familiar with it to know how to keep it stable though technically you should never put your full weight on it, it is only for support until you strengthen your muscles. the other advice is give it an oil coat occasionally to keep the wood from drying out. A butcher block oil or even coconut oil wipe with a cloth twice a year should do the trick :)
