I purchased this box for a foster child. She is an amazing artist applying to a school of the arts. This case will allow her to comfortably transport her art supplies to and from school and support those late night creative bursts in bed. I purchased a huge drawing kit with an assortment of shading pencils, drawing pencils, color pencils, rulers, sharpeners, and protractor, all fit nicely in this case along with a large sketchpad. Something she will cherish for a long time. I purchased a wood burning pen for her to be able to lightly decorate her box. This is an awesome product. Very nicely put together.

This art storage kit is perfect for adults or kids. Whether coloring with crayons or painting, there's enough room for paints, crayons and paper or canvas. Take it to grandma's home. It's easy to carry as it's the perfect size, & very well constructed. You will not be disappointed.

Overall this is the perfect easel for small paints, brushes and spaces. I'm taking oil painting classes and I wanted to invest in something that wasn't too expensive, that I could use at home to paint on small canvas boards. This fit the bill, for the most part. It's constructed really well and it's easy to set the easel up to the perfect height or tilt that you want because you just untwist the screws a bit, move it where you want it, then tighten the screws again. I've carried it back and forth to art class, without any issues. My only challenge is that everything moves all over the place when you're carrying it, so whenever I reopen it again, the paints and brushes are all over the place. It doesn't fit paintbrushes with long handles, so I don't know if it would be good for a professional but for a child or a beginner artist like myself, it's a solid starting point.

ThI love it! It has a large box inside to keep your art supplies, even when I put too many in it! It has a removable divider. The ledge is wide enough for a canvas but also will hold sketchbooks. Has an adjustable top to hold large canvases in place. I can use my sketchbook without any problems. Handle is sturdy and latches seem to be well made. Definitely a great buy for the price. I will enjoy this for many years to come!

I bought this unit as a gift for my daughter. Let's be honest, I could make one of these if I really wanted to. But by the time I got to the store search for the wood pick up the hardware.. Even if I ordered the hardware I'd be above the price point of the easel. Generally I have a low opinion of cheap wood boxes and trinkets, so I didn't have very high expectations... In fact I was figuring that I'd have to make some adjustments or beef it up here or there... But I'm happy to report that it has exceeded my expectations. Yes I could make a better unit, yes I could make adjustments. But I don't feel that they are necessary. It feels sturdy, which was my biggest concern. My / her biggest complaint is a bolt at the top that allows for adjustment. Because it sticks up from the surface using paper or hard boards difficult. So it's best used on traditional canvas stretched over a frame. However it still makes a great place to store her art supplies,which makes her happy, and in turn me happy.

This is a nifty little, portable, table-top easel. Sturdy enough with the wingnuts tightened (may be an issue if you have difficulty hand-tightening wing nuts). I use it so I can draw/paint on my lap in bed. It's lightweight enough to be portable easily. However the interior space dividers are really only useful while the easel is open as a tray. To carry in travel mode any supplies would have to be packed in cases inside the easel as the dividers are too narrow and fall about when the easel is closed upright and jostled about. However, because the dividers are narrow, there is space to put a sketchbook inside the easel while it is closed even if the dividers are in place, so that is something. For the price it really isn't an issue for me and I like that this was an inexpensive table-top easel.

This easel is perfect. I've sold two paintings so far for 200$. Didn't want a easel with legs, I have a toddler so I put this on a table top and I haven't had any problems. Work in progress as attached picture.

I bought this for a college art class this fall, decided to do a little doodle, I love this thing, it's quite rigid and holds my sketch book quite well. Please excuse the poor quality of my art, I have never taken an art class and haven't done much art.. However the case is perfect. I recommend it as a cost effective quality product.

I can now go to my location for painting and have most everything I need. I carry my water separately but the box has room for my pencils, paints, brushes, and cloth for wiping/cleaning. The interior has dividers to keep things from just rolling around and getting all mixed up but does limit the ability to store an extra canvas inside. The Easel front is great for very small canvases but a lot of what I do fits nicely and it works ok. The adjustable wing nuts on the backside hold it at whatever angle I need and allow it to close flat for transport. Overall a very handy painting box.
